“Great ride”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

I personally like the Sombrero a little better but these stables are a really close second. The Wranglers are great and very friendly. The scenery is just beautiful. You won't go wrong going to either place.

“don't ride on a stormy day”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

We went to the Cowpoke Corner for the 2 hour $50 ride. It was raining and lightning but the young leader kept saying, that if we cancel we still have to pay but if they (the company) cancel, then we get reimbursed. There were 2 adults and 3 children between 11-12 years old. They said it was safe so we saddled up and got soaked. Once we were wet on the horses they gave us the parkas. We rode up the mountain in the middle of a storm soaking wet and freezing. Lightning struck so close the horses freaked. The leader took us all off the horses one by one and we stood under trees waiting for it to pass. It was awful. I kept waiting for the leader to just end it, but she got us back on our horses and led us through. It was in no way a 2 hour ride with the stop. I just wanted it to end and not electrocuted. $50 is good price and I'm sure it would have been better if it wasn't storming. We had a obviously terrible experience and they were just like, oh well. It seemed that our payment was more important than our safety or our fun.

“Enjoyable ride into Rocky Mountain National Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

We had family join us for a trail ride that took us 2 hours into the park and back. It is very pretty and an easy ride for beginners. Some of the more experienced riders would have enjoyed a bit more freedom, but they had fun as well.

Loved the views and our guide. Great tour! One of the many things we did to make our trip the best vacation we've had as a family

“Beautiful scenery”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

The scenery was beautiful, but didn't get to enjoy it much because the trail guide was turned to us in her saddle and talking (not about what we were seeing, but asking about each persons life) the ENTIRE time! I don't mind learning a bit of something about others, but not to the point that you can't take in your current experience. I feel I missed out on a lot Of sights and sound because she wouldn't stop talking. Also, the trail we went on (1 hr) was very tight and nose to tail. I will try a different stable next time.
