When we booked this room we did not expect the weather in Estes Park to be extremely cold and snowy (-10 degrees) during our visit. We only traveled from the Colorado Springs area to get away for a few days. The very comfortable updated room maintained heat very well considering the age of the motel. The owners live on site and are very friendly. We could tell they take great pride in their investment as this is their business. When we arrived Dana was shoveling snow off of the balcony to make sure there were not any safety concerns. We felt very safe. Peter was very knowledgeable about the area. This is good for future visitors who are interested in the Estes Park area. We definitely would return if the opportunity comes again just so we can use the hot tub and firepit!
