“Very accomodating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

We chose this hotel based on their advertising of lowest prices in Estes. Coyote Lodge is a charming place to stay Rooms are smaller. Lodge is in the process of being renovated from an outdated old motor lodge setting to a more updated and modern setting. Outdoor pool and hot tub; both kept up very well. Not a lot of amenities that the more expensive hotels have but more than adequate for the two of us. Bring your own hairdryer and alarm clock. Coffee available at the office each morning. Just moments from Big Thompson Canyon. Does not have breakfast available however does partner with a local diner in Estes Park for breakfast. Bed was fairly comfortable. Would choose to stay there again.

Our family had several different room accommodations - one condo, one 2-bedroom suite, one standard room 2-queen beds, one deluxe room 2-queen beds. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They all had refrigerators and microwaves. The pool was newly redone and we ended each day at the pool with the kids. There was a small play area and our kids rode scooters through the parking lot. Location can't be beat-very close to the town of Estes, we walked down one day and connected with the river walk at the Visitors Center. We saw coyotes at our motel and elk on the golf course close to Lake Estes. The lake was a 10-minute walk from our motel. The staff was very helpful, even moving one of our families from their room to another room, same type, that was just bigger. I would recommend Coyote Mountain Lodge for a comfortable, inexpensive "base of operations" for any family.

Room Tip: The lower level, corner deluxe room with 2 queen sized beds was quite a bit larger than the other ro...

Our entire family stayed here for the week - awesome price and great rooms. The service was terrific - we asked for a larger room and were given one, no hassle, no charge. Pool was great for the kids as well as the complimentary hot chocolate every morning. I'd recommend this to anybody who wants a good deal. Thank you -Nick was especially helpful.

Room Tip: We reserved a renovated room but were upgraded to a newly renovated room - when you reserve, ask abo...

My husband and I spent one night here in a deluxe king room during our tour of Rocky Mountan National Park. It had been recently refurbished, as had the bathroom and, although it wasn't particularly big, there was enough space for us and our rather large amount of luggage. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and, on the night that we stayed, the weather was cold so we were glad of the rather ancient-looking but functional heater in the room. It was nice to have a view of the mountains from our room too. The whole motel is gradually being remodelled and the staff here are doing a good job. The people on reception were welcoming and friendly and suggested good places for us to eat dinner and breakfast. This motel is very good value for money.

The price was great and the beds were comfortable. Front desk chick was very nice and informative. You could see Elk from your room.Good location but very busy and loud. Shower was updated and very clean. I think the room had been remodeled.

Room Tip: rooms on the end then maybe no wall noise. can't sleep late because people are up and going VERY...

Of course I didn't expect the Ritz when I checked in! $79/night is the cheapest in Estes Park! The pool was closed, and the hot tub was smaller than my grandpa's, but this motel is really trying. Love the shower head and cleanliness! Room did get a little hot at night, but wait a couple hours, and it will cool down! My husband and I stayed here the first night, then at Discovery the second night. If we wouldn't have already had travel plans booked in advance, I would have stayed here the second night and saved $20!

this is a great option to stay in estes park. It is near the lake and a playground/ picnic area and close to Safeway. We woke up early and took the kids to bike by the lake which is only a few blocks away. Very clean and well maintained

Room Tip: rooms on east side were very quiet, there is only one floor to that wing
