My sister-in-law was in charge of finding a B&B for two couples in Estes Park. She was very successful in finding this B&B with Sheila as the innkeeper....we were all thrilled! Two lovely bedrooms, each with private bath. There is a small third bedroom, but it must share one of the bathrooms...would be perfect as a kid's room. You also have the entire floor of the house which includes a lovely living room with fireplace, TV, computer, dining room & kitchen! The brochure says you get a gourmet breakfast, and we were amazed with the fabulous food Sheila made for us! It doesn't get better than this....really.
Location is great....walking distance to Estes Park one direction, and the other direction a short drive to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
We only got to spend 2 nights in Estes Park earlier this October...wish it could have been longer. On our way back from the RMNP, we got to see the famous Elk...right along the roadside! Too much fun....amazingly large animals. Our last morning we were treated the magical sight of the earth having been dusted with snow overnight...and our car was covered! We were delighted and snapped photos before it all melted.
Don't let the outside of this B&B discourage you...it's a plain Jane, but there's warmth and friendship within. Was absolutely perfect for two couples....home away from home!
