Do not stay at this lodge! The room was awful...it smelled like a wet, old, dirty rug. The room said non-smoking, what a joke of a sign! Take my word, DO NOT STAY here! I can not believe this place is in operation. The price of the room was reasonable, but like the say, you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: Sleeping in your car would be in upgrade

This is my fourth visit to Estes and I have always stayed at the Olympus. While it's older, it's very neat and clean, the views are spectacular, and Todd will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. The wide porch in front of the rooms just invites you sit and relax. It's especially great to sit out in the evening and visit with other guests or just soak up the views. Sometimes, the occasional deer or elk comes by to graze on the grass in front and you get a close-up view. I absolutely love coming here because it really is like visiting a friend.

Room Tip: There are 12 rooms along the front. We always stay in room 1 but any of them are great. If you'...

What a great place. Owners are friendly and more than willing to do what they can to make your stay better. Fresh coffee, begals and conversation in the morning with Todd were such a wonderful change from feeling like just another dollar bill. They make you feel like you are a welcome part of their extended family. Rooms are well layed out, price is great, views from the rooms of Longs Peak are out of this world. I hated to leave !!!!

sit back and chill looking at longs peak and grill up some steaks. This place is older but clean with great views and grills .It is just outside of town so no dealing with down town, the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Want a clean place with great views cheap rates look no further this is the place. Also whoof whoof dog friendly.

An excellence experience in a delightful town. Very clean and spacious rooms. Beautiful view of Longs peak and panoramicscenery. Reasonable rates and pleasant staff. Would recommend any time of year. As close to Rocky Mtn. National Park as you can get, one mile from entrance. I give it two thumbs up.

"non smoking" room thick with smoke (blankets, heater, etc.). Cat food on floor, melting soap and blue goo on the floor of the shower, not to mention hair (both kinds). 1 1/2" brown stain, either fecal matter or dried blood, on middle of bottom sheet. Owner was kind (turned on lights for my late check-in) and apologetic (partial refund) but uninterested in seeing items pointed out. I will never stay here again, but *will* now inspect entire bed when checking in anywhere!!

My wife and I spent a most enjoyable two nights at this e3stablishment. As the owners admits, it needs a little TLC, but what a delight when we opened the door to our room (No.5). The beautiful decor, the iron bedstead, nice bed-coverings, the little lounge and BOY, what a view from our window. We've stayed in over 100 motels around the USA, but never before have we had such a wonderful view when we opened our curtains in the morning.. Stunning snow-covered mountains, Autumn (fall) leaves, and, being a little out of town, a peaceful serenity. It was cool overnight, but the wall heater came on during night and made our stay so cosy. Friendly staff and the room rate was pocket-friendly as well. I often wonder if some people are staying at the same places as we have stayed from their comments. Either that, or they must be very hard to please. Its proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park is an added bonus.

Room Tip: Don't always judge a book by its cover.
