I was greeted happily by a busy but efficient sweet hostess, who assured me that though they were crowded she could get me seated in 10 minutes or so. She did just that and I was given an enticing menu, where for budget reasons I picked a hamburger with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese. I switched the French fries for a dinner salad and the balsamic dressing was the best I've had in any restaurant, and I regularly go to the best in Dallas, my hometown.
The hamburger was very tasty and the onions were crisp and purple, the cheese was melted, and the mushrooms exquisite.
I ended the meal with an apple pastry that was, again, about the best apple dessert I've ever had.
The food for me was 5 star, but I rate it 4 star because the air that night was warm and stuffy in the restaurant, though it was cool outside.
