After a day full of hiking, my fiance and I decided to cool off with a beer and some dinner. We really enjoying eating at local places, so this seemed perfect.
We were really hungry, so rather than sampling beer downstairs first, we chose to just go upstairs and order. I ordered the raspberry wheat beer, which was delicious, and the beer my fiance ordered first they were out of. Our waiter brought him a couple to sample for free, even though they are only supposed to give you free samples downstairs at the bar, before he ordered his beer to assure that he would like it.
We then ordered our food: the appetizer sampler, I ordered the cheeseburger, and my fiance ordered the bison burger. The food was nothing to write home about. Our burgers were over cooked and tasteless.
When we walked in, a table we walked by had a pizza that smelled delicious. Perhaps we went wrong by not ordering the pizza, but it was super expensive!
I would recommend Estes Park Brewery as a place to grab some drinks, but nothing more.
