We spent 3 nights here and also had them do our wedding ceremony with pictures. When we first got there, Lynn went out of her way to help us pick a good restaurant, and Paul brought us warm chocolate cookies fresh from the oven. Paul did a great job on the wedding ceremony and we were very pleased with the pictures that Lynn took for us. We thought it was just the right balance between personalized attention and privateness. Our room was immaculate. We're recommending this place to our family and friends and plan to stay there again.

This B&B is the place to stay in Estes Park. The location, rooms, amenities, etc. are outstanding. Lynn and Paul are remarkable, nice, wonderful people. Besides providing a place to stay, they do weddings with all services provided. Lynn is a great photographer taking traditional family photos and doesn't miss any of the special candid moments of the wedding or reception. Her floral arrangements and decorating are beautiful. Paul officiated the ceremony in the front of the B&B under the wedding arch and then our reception was on the veranda. Lynn and Paul had set up a buffet of tantilizing food to enjoy before the cake cutting ceremony. We stayed two nights, one night in the Valley View room and one night in the Mountain View room and got to enjoy two breakfasts on the veranda. The whole experience was . . . WOW! Thank you very much Lynn and Paul for our very special weekend with memories to treasure always! Matt and Jill

“Great wedding”

My wife and I booked out the entire lodge for friends and family for a July wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park. Paul and Lynn either took care of, or assisted us, with all of the arrangements, important as we were 1,500 miles away in Michigan. Their help removed all of the stress often associated with wedding planning. Our stay at the lodge was fantastic. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and each is unique. We had a great time wine tasting, eating Paul's fantastic breakfasts on the deck, sitting in the hot tub, and just enjoying our time together in this fantastic setting. Paul and Lynn both were accomodating to the max, working with us when family scheduling issues forced us to adjust our plans. The wedding itself was something we will never forget. The setting, at Sprague Lake, was incredible, and Paul did a wonderfful job as offciant. As he spoke, it felt like he had known us for years. Lynn's cake was delicious, and her photos, which she stayed up until the wee hours of the morning preparing, were fabulous. I think I can sum our experience up by saying that, as my new bride and I, our families, and our friends left A Mountain Valley Home, we felt that we were saying goodbye to friends in both Paul and Lynn. I would recommend a Mountain Valley Home to anyone considering a Colorado wedding, or simply a weekend in the mountains. Thank you, Lynn and Paul, for making our stay, and our wedding, the time of our lives!

This is the best B&B my husband and I have ever stayed at. It is very conveniently located within a few miles of downtown Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The breakfasts were yummy and I loved that they are served outdoors on the veranda (weather permitting). I often needed to use the hot tub at night to soak muscles that were sore from hiking. We stayed in the Deer Trail Suite and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The owners are friendly and offer lots of good advice regarding where to go and what to do. If you want a personal touch, a hearty breakfast, and a good night's sleep, this is an excellent place to go!

My husband and I eloped and chose A Mountain Valley Home for our wedding site. We stayed in a beautiful room with a king canopy bed and a jacuzzi tub. Lynn and Paul were very helpful and knowledgeable about the town of Estes Park. They made excellent recommendations of restaurants and gave good directions so we didn't get lost. Getting up in the morning and having breakfast with the other guests was a wonderful and new experience for us. It was great to get to know some new people a little bit. Paul's food was delicious. Paul performed our ceremony right there in front of a large fireplace. It was also nice to wake up and look out the window to see elk grazing right in the yard. My only complaint is that we couldnt stay longer!
