After entering this B&B I knew we were in for a treat. It was decorated for Christmas and made us feel very comfortable. Then the hostess, Lynn, greeted us with a fantastic smile and showed us around. Our room was cozy and warm with our own Christmas tree, double jaguzzi tube and double shower. The sheets on the bed were the softest ever. We will diffiently go and buy then which we were told were at Bed and Bath. Paul's breakfast were very tastey and looked forward to our next one. Then the wine tasting in their private wine tasting room was a lot of fun. This was one of the best B&B we have ever stayed at. It is worth a try.

My husband and I stayed at A Mountain Valley Home in Estes Park in September 2007 and it was just wonderful. The bedroom was extremely comfortable as were the communal areas and the breakfasts were incredible. We are very particular about where we stay and always look for a clean place in a good location. This place made us very happy and we would definitely go back. Rita & Rich, Dix Hills, NY

We've stayed at many B&Bs, and we had high expectations - and we were not disappointed. We spent two nights in the Bears Den in early October. As noted by another reviewer, it's accessible by an outside staircase, but we didn't mind - we loved the privacy. The room and the Sleep Number bed were quite comfortable. We enjoyed the huge spa tub that's also a shower enclosure (spacious luxury for either a bath or shower), and the soft sheets. At night we watched the stars through the skylight directly over the bed. We appreciated having a microwave and small fridge in the room, too.
Our only criticism (which we're sharing with our wonderful hosts Lynn & Paul - we're sure they'll look into it), was that the room required a few helpful things for a comfortable stay. For example, there were no luggage racks - we used the floor so as to keep the yummy leather furniture open for sitting. In the bathroom, a few hooks or a coat-tree would help with robes and such. Also, the abundance of decorative items (which were cute) meant that there were few places to put "our" things (we moved things a bit). Also, we thought perhaps a safety bar should be installed to help bathers out of the fantastic tub enclosure. It was a bit awkward. These are subtle things - the kinds of things we're used to seeing at other B&Bs - but they certainly didn't keep us from enjoying our stay or appreciating Lynn and Paul's efforts to make us feel at home in their beautiful inn.
As for breakfast - simply wonderful! Lynn and Paul serve all of their guests at the same time, which creates a super setting for everyone to share stories while enjoying Paul's amazing cooking.
Finally - a quick comments about weddings observed. We had the privilege of standing quietly in the background when Paul conducted a marriage ceremony for two guests right after our arrival. It was a very special moment - handled professionally and beautifully by Paul (fantastic vows) and Lynn (photographer).
We are looking forward to a return visit someday.

We stayed in the Valley View suite for for two nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room was spotless, very large and had everything we needed (and more). It was beautifully decorated and included a flat screen tv, mini-fridge and microwave. The sheets are wonderful and Lynn kindly shared her source and I'm buying some for us to use at home so we'll remember the nice time we had. Be sure and ask for restaurant suggestions--they gave us good ones. Paul's breakfasts are great--we'll definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

We spent one day at this B&B. We needed a break from the children to celebrate my wife's birthday.

The B&B was nice and the owners were very kind. They made a great breakfast!

We stayed in the Elk Room. The Jacuzzi was great! We loved the bed too.

Overall, it was a good B&B and we will go back.
