I sure hope that the owners of this restaurant take a quick minute to read and heed the suggestions found here. I read the reviews before we went and as per usual, they were spot on. Plain and simple, you need to hire more help. I wanted to sit outside on a beautiful morning, but just as we entered someone came to the front counter from outside saying how long they had been waiting outside. So, we chose a spot inside....big mistake. It was one of the least relaxing dining experiences I have ever had. There was constant chatter between owners (waiting tables) an their waitress. The waitress was incredibly patient and helpful as the owners were very chaotic. "Can you put an order in for me?" "Can you bring drinks to this table?" Now, I have never been a waitress, but generally it seems people would get better service if you all just concentrate on your own tables. It wasnt busy enough to be so scattered. So, since we got a table by the front counter I had to hear all the bantering and it was not relaxing.
As for the decor, I thought it was cute. Having different chairs is part of the decor. Brightly colored deco's made it cute. However, like another one of my dining experiences in Estes, this place needs a really good scrubbing. Bathroom was clean, which to me always says a lot.
Food, we went here as they advertise gluten free menu and bakery items. Breakfast is pretty easy to fix gluten free, but it helps to think that at least I can hope the kitchen is more aware. The regular baked goods looked great, but I would bet dollars to donuts that the gluten free baked goods were all Udi's individually wrapped as though they were baked there. While Udi's makes good stuff, I dont like the implication that it is a gf bakery when it isnt.
This place has good potential if it is given a good scrub down and more, confident and professional staff is hired.

My apologies for not responding sooner. We did not have access; changes in ownership have odd consequences at times.

I cannot understand how you experienced what you did — it certainly is not usual. But you must have, so we apologize. Staff and management are working well together after working out the bugs in a new undertaking.
Yes, we have Udi's, and are not at all hesitant to say so. We are proud to be able to offer quality gluten-free products that we can not duplicate in our own Bakery at 7,500 feet in the Rockies. Very high altitude baking without gluten is extremely difficult.
We look forward to your next visit and are certain all will be to your liking.
