We chose the Dunraven based on the T.A. Reviews, but have to say we were not impressed. First, we sat at the bar while we waited to be seated, so I ordered a Bellini, which was rather small, and my husband ordered a glass of wine, the total: $18.95. What a rip off! Not to mention the bartender was a little ditzy, and gave our credit card to someone else. We were seated at a tiny table against the wall in a very crowded, noisy room; we had to practically yell at each other over the chatter and jazz music. I ordered the scallops, and my husband The Lord Dunraven. My scallops and polenta were pretty good, but my husband's steak had no flavor. We've had much better steaks at hole-in-the-wall diners back in Texas. And finally, our server, although sweet, was M.I.A. most of the time, and it wasn't because she was overwhelmed... I think she had maybe 1 or 2 tables other than ours.
Needless to say, we won't go back to the Dunraven. You have been forewarned!
