Friendly family atmosphere, great activities for the whole family, and incredibly serene surroundings. You've missed out if you haven't stayed here and made friends with the wonderful staff. Clean and recently updated facilities are among the best we've experienced.
You will not lack for information on the surrounding area. The staff is informed and more than willing to help with any interest you might have. A must stay in the "rockies"!

My wife & I travel a lot ! We go to the islands mostly. This year we decided to spend
our annv. in the beautiful ROCKY MTS. of Colo. The Rams Horn Village turned out to
be a great choice. The resort was perfect with a staff behond compare. There were so many things to do> 7 days was just enough for the time of year<.The info. about the
Village can not do justice for the extras, etc. free washer/dryer~internet~wine & cheese
party ,please~ great asortment of foods~next morning a pancake breakfest~with no
sales push ! Even bikes~snowshoe equipment~sleds~free vidio discs for loan~etc....
We watched a herd of Elk ...75 right outside of our balcony; 25 across the road from the club house. The homes are VERY nice~instant hot water~very large.I COULD GO ON & ON.,but it's game time...SB." Get a chance goooooooo~

If you're seeking high brow luxury, this may not be the place for you. But the customer service is second to none, the units are impeccably clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect. We loved coming home to Rams Horn each night after enjoying Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The location is literally just a few minutes from the entrance to the national park. This was our first winter visit to the area, and it exceeded all of our expectations.

The wine and cheese social on Saturday night was fun and a great way to meet and get ideas from other travelers. We enjoyed the $3 waffle breakfast on Sunday morning. The free DVD library was a nice touch, as was the free laundry facility (sure, it would have been even nicer to have a washer/dryer in our unit, but the "public" laundry facility worked out great).

We took a ranger guided snowshoe tour in the park (rented snowshoes for $8 at the Warming House near Rams Horn), and went hiking several times. Also went skiing at Eldora, about an hour away. We ate most of our meals in the condo, but had a wonderful dinner at the Stanley Hotel.

In our opinion you just can't go wrong with Rams Horn. Can't really think of anything negative, other than small bars of soap and a small microwave oven, which obviously aren't a big deal.

Everything about this place was easy. No pressure to buy anything. No nickle and diming you to death. This was by far the cleanest place we've ever been! Any little extras you might need were provided at a moments notice and at no extra charge.

Over all, this was one of the most comfortable places to stay that we've seen!

This is probably the best resort our family has ever enjoyed. We stayed there the first full week of January and spent two half days in Rocky Mountain National Park hiking in the snow. We skied three of the days at Eldora ski resort and it wasn't very crowded at all. We cooked our own meals several times in the well-appointed kitchen. We borrowed videos from the resort and watched Titanic one night. We enjoyed the gas fireplace as well. We ate out a couple of times at nearby restaurants recommended by the resort staff and found them to be excellent. Used the hot tub one night and also used the free washer and dryer at the resort. The housecleaning staff and the office staff were very helpful and friendly. Found great shops in town and prices reasonable at the local Safeway. Really enjoyed the resort and found lots to do in the area. Can't think of anything negative.

Our 15 years as RCI members have brought us to resorts from Florida to Wisconsin and from the east coast to the west coast. We've had mostly good experiences and have always been eager to plan our next adventure to another new place. After staying at Rams Horn Village, our new plan is to return there as often as possible. The "homes" were spacious, warm and relaxing and clean. The kitchen was better equipped than any other. Of course the beauty of the Rocky Mountains cannot be surpassed by any other environment. But what made our vacation especially enjoyable was the genuine kindness of Debra and Alex and the staff at Rams Horn. Their every word and action was directed at enriching our stay at the resort, in the community of Estes Park and at Rocky Mountain National Park. My only regret is that our next week of vacation is already committed to a trip to California - and I'll have to wait a while for a return trip to Rams Horn!

We stayed at this wonderful area this past fall. From the minute you drive into resort you get the feel you are really going to like staying here. The grounds are very kept. The condos are relaxing and the facilities are excellent. We were there during the Elk mating season and the Elk seemed to be everywhere. The temps were ideal and the scenery beyond expectations. I shall return.
