Glacier Lodge is paradise on earth. Our cabins were so clean and beautiful and everyone took care of us like we were royalty. Not one request was too much. This is a place that has more to offer then anywhere we have stayed. Our 30th wedding anniversary was so special, we booked 8 days next year instead of 4 (that turned into 5 because we did not want to leave). Thank you to the nicest folks on earth - Glacier Lodge owners and staff (including Buddie, the adorable dog).

Room Tip: Everyone we met loved their cabin/home. The outdoors had rolling green lawns, planters full of beau...

By far the best trip I have had with my family. Kids loved it more than Disney and that is from their own mouths. What a great property and a great family running it. Can't wait to go back next year. Stayed in the Aspen Glen for three nights and then was moved to the Lazy River for the 4th night. My fault for waiting until the last minute to book but Dave made sure it went smoothly. The kids loved the cowboy breakfast and the smores around the fire. Cowboy Brad was fun even for the kids. The proximity to the park is awesome and to downtown Estes but being at the Glacier was the best part of the trip. Nothing like sitting on the porch listening to the river and watching the kids enjoy nature. Thanks Dave for a great time and see you again soon

Our family stayed at Glacier Lodges for only two nights but we had such a wonderful time! Our cabin (Shoshone) was perfect for the three of us, it was so clean and very charming. There was tons for our son to do-- we went to the marshmallow roast, the ice cream social, went on a pony ride (onsite), went swimming and fished on the Big Thompson (onsite). Our time there was so memorable and are planning on returning next year with extended family. It was so fun to let our little guy run around, make friends with kids his age and experience the country-- we live in the city so believe me, it was fun and adventurous! You are just minutes from the town of Estes so there is so much to do onsite and in town. The staff was wonderful, accommodating and made us feel like family. I would give Glacier Lodges way more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We stayed 6 nights in one of the smaller units (Wildwood) and it couldn't have been more perfect. We have 2 kids (10, 7) and Glacier Lodge provided so many amenities for them to enjoy: ping-pong, basketball, badminton, the campfires, cowboy sing-along, and pool. On Thursday morning, GC provided a wonderfully delicious breakfast, that I bet we would have paid $10-15 per person if eating at a restaurant. The grounds itself were safe enough to let our kids run around, play, meet other kids, and just have freedom to discover nature. At our cabin, the Big Thompson River was right outside our door, beckoning us to rock hunt, trout fish, or just put our feet in its cold waters and enjoy its music. And all of this, minutes away from Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mt. National Park. We visited those places too, but most of our favorite things as a family were at Glacier Lodge: the people, the river, the in-cabin fireplace, and the quiet. My expectations were met and exceeded. Thanks so much to the Ranglos and staff for providing our family much-needed time together and away from work and "normal life!"

Room Tip: Wildwood is the last unit on the east side of a triplex. It was plenty quiet and not too far from t...

We stayed five nights in one of the chalets (Deer Ridge) and loved it. My two sons loved having their own twin beds in the loft. Most of our time was spent hiking and seeing the town, but we enjoyed our down time at Glacier Lodge. There were a ton of activities and best of all was the Big Thompson River running through the front of the property. The cabin was very clean and perfect for our needs. We've had cabin rentals in the past where things were a little musty, but we did not have that problem here. My sons want to know when we are going back.

Thank you! The floor plan of the chalet units are popular, kids seem to have fun in the upstairs loft. Hope to see you and your family again! Dave Ranglos, owner

We spent four nights at Glacier Lodge, which was our first time visiting. They have a lot of activities for the kids, including horeseback riding on site, shuffle board, swimming, horsehoes, croquet, kids club (time parents can be alone), ice cream socials, etc. etc. The cabin we stayed in was small, but charming and clean and was right on the river. Although small, the cabin had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. We will be back to Glacier Lodge for sure and may make it an annual event.

Awesome family-friendly lodge with top notch staff, in a beautiful location on the river, and easy access to Rocky Mnt National Park. I do not think 'no' is in their vocabulary! We felt right at home and enjoyed all the recreational facilities, including onsite horseback riding, ping pong, badminton, basketball, swimming, and assorted indoor and outdoor games. Very easy to spend quality time with kids, and to have adult time while the kids play amongst themselves in the safe environment. The rustic cabin (Timber Creek) was equipped with all we needed for a most comfortable stay. We'll definitely be back.
