My wife and I stayed for one night in the Blossom room, and it was fantastic. It is expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
The first thing you notice when you drive up is how close it is to Rocky Mountain National Park. You have a beautiful view of Deer Mountain across the road, and the grounds are covered in large pines (which is fantastic, considering it was built in 2008. I'm sure it would have been much easier and cheaper to clear out more trees. I'm glad they didn't).
The building itself is awesome, very well decorated, and high-end. Our room (The Blossom) was also decorated very well, you can tell that a lot of effort and expense went into making each room special. The bathroom is huge, and includes a waterfall fountain. I'd say the only downsides are that there are no doors to the toilet (for privacy) or the shower (for warmth).
The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic (and they had no problem accommodating my unfortunate food allergies).
If you're looking for a high-end romantic getaway in Estes Park, this is it!
