“Beyond Perfection”

Best B&B stay ever...My husband and I stayed at the Sonnenhof B&B for three nights while attending our nieces Rockey Mt wedding. Our room's patio was next to Rudy and Hildes beautifully cared for & in full bloom garden. Hummingbirds greeting us every morning as we enjoyed sitting on the garden swing before breakfast. Hilde's breakfast spread was right off the cover of a cooking magazine and tasted soooo good. Best coffee ever. We felt cared for without feeling smothered. Our room was VERY clean and the handcrafted aspen wood bed that Rudy made was Very comfortable. Don't think twice...there is a good reason why the Sonnenhof is rated #1 on trip advisor...it is #1.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Golden Aspen suite...and would choose it again for the location just off the garden...

My husband and I stayed two nights and the Sonnenhof is truly the best Bed and Breakfast we've ever been to! Rudy and Hilde made us feel very special and went out of their way at every opportunity to meet all of our needs! The homemade breakfasts every morning were superb along with our visits with them and the other guests!Their place is beautiful both inside and out! They are both very talented and we can't wait to go back again someday! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds all around the feeders they have there! We stayed in the Romantic Rose and it was gorgeous! Would highly recommend this B & B to everyone!

We stayed two days and enjoyed it very much. The room had everything we needed, with a small patio outside to enjoy the view and the local wildlife. It even had its own parking spot! The owners were very welcoming and warm but then left us alone to enjoy our stay. The decor is unique, and certainly helped make the visit memorable. Breakfasts were delicious with ample servings, and the service was attentive. A really nice place, and we'd stay there again.

My husband and I stayed a week at the Sonnenhof B&B and we wanted to stay longer! The room (the Alpine Flower) was warm and inviting, decorated in a unique and cozy way. The large windows and patio overlooked a wonderful view of the mountains and the hummingbirds were flitting everywhere! The landscaping is beautiful and includes birds, chipmunks, and ground squirrels to entertain you, not to mention the occasional wild turkey or elk. Rudy and Hilde are very friendly and always join the breakfast chatting of the guests. And speaking of breakfast.... Fresh, home-made, and delicious every day!! I highly recommend the Sonnenhof for anyone who wants a quiet, lovely retreat. We will be back as soon as possible!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Sonnenhof over our 21st wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Golden Aspen suite and it was perfect--quiet, a lovely private patio, a peaceful stream flowing by, hummingbirds constantly flitting about, and beautiful landscaping to gaze at. Rudy and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and fun to visit with, but they allowed us ample privacy. Breakfasts were a delight to our senses--crepes, apple pancakes, fresh fruit, among other delectables. We would not hesitate to stay at Sonnenhof again, it would be our first choice. Thank you Rudy and Hilde for being such gracious and welcoming hosts. See you again!

Room Tip: We appreciated the privacy of the Golden Aspen suite, but all rooms were lovely.

After having stayed at 20-30 B & B's in the past few years, this is without doubt one of the highest quality B & B's that I have has the pleasure of staying in. The room was more of an apartment than a B & B and was full of quality fittings and fixtures. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were most helpful. All in all, as good as it gets and worth the extra premium in the price.

What an incredibly beautiful home in which to spend a few nights. The grounds, which offered several places to just relax and enjoy mother nature's marvels (like hummingbirds), were plush with greenery and colors. The rooms in the house quaint, clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were plentiful offering an array of choices and quite tasty. The host and hostess, Rudy and Hilde, were very pleasant and attentive to our every need. If you're looking for a great place to rest and relax, in an environment sure to help ease your mind and lighten your heart, the Sonnenhof B & B is your answer. Hats off to Rudy and Hilde!
