“Rare Find!”

It's highly unusual to find a place as unique as the Sonnenhof. The hosts are genuine people who love what they do...providing a haven of rest in the most beautiful setting imaginable. The food was outstanding, and the rooms had every item you could possibly need. What more could you ask for?!

Rudy and Heldi are the nicest people in my opinion. I enjoyed a 50th birthday celebration. A very quiet and relaxing birthday. The three rooms offered, are beautiful hand made furniture. The breakfast was perfect. I recommend Sonnenhof for your next gateway.

Getting to know Hilde and Rudy has been a blessing! Due to the fact that we live close by, we plan on nurturing that friendship. They are fantastic hosts and the place is amazing! All the wonderful wood work that Rudy has done and the special flare with Hilde decor...not to mention her tole painting on some of the furiture! My husband and I recommend this nature getaway to whomever reads this and to all of our friends. Thanks Hilde and Rudy for a wonderful anniversary! We love you!

What a beautiful get-away! Hilde and Rudy are wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Rose Suite which has a beautiful view of Mary's Lake from the balcony. Rudy is a magnificent wood worker. The surrounding area is breathe taking. Very quiet. We were made to feel right at home. We are planning to visit again in June to see the beautiful flowers in the garden and enjoy a different season. The breakfasts are delicious. Hilde is a wonderful cook. Thank you Hilde and Rudy for making us feel welcome!

The Sonnenhof B@B offers beautiful suites with a great view. The suites are spotless and everything works as it should. Rudy's woodworking skills have served to create wonderful woodwork and delightful furniture, perhaps reminiscent of the Alps. Hilde's breakfasts aredelicious and different every day.

The Sonnenhof is the best of four B@Bs that we have stayed at in Estes Park. And they're far from the most expensive. We heartily recommend them.

This was our second stay at the Sonnenhof but it will definitely not be our last. The scenery is beautiful - overlooks Mary's Lake - the wildlife is abundant, the accomodations are spotless and comfortable, the breakfasts superb, and Rudie and Hilde are wonderful hosts! This is a great place to "come home" to while visiting in Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park.

We had an amazing time at this bed and breakfast. Not only was the food amazing but as we were eating we were able to watch mule deer and a bobcat. The attention to detail in the woodwork and service was out of this world. If you are looking for a relaxing time or want to go to rocky mountain national park this is the best place to stay.
