4 nights at the house was not enough, a superb stay, Nancy is a gem, she even went out hiking with us, giving us lots of ‘local’ information, the rooms are first class, cleanliness, impeccable, food, incredible. What can one say except Thank you Nancy? Have a great vacation on your cruise and we hope that the Colorado fires don’t get close to your lovely home

Room Tip: Any room, one light one darker, but both excellent

We recently stay at the Eagle Cliff B&B. Everything about our stay was excellent: the food was outstanding, the rooms were clean and Nancy, our host was a lovely, friendly person. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A few weeks ago I was scheduled to fly to Boulder for work, so I decided to make a mini-vacation, have my gf fly out, and hike in RMNP. Of course, since it was late notice and August, everything was booked. We are so happy we found Eagle Cliff B&B.

Nancy wasn't there last weekend because of a previous trip, but we had the pleasure of guest innkeeper Pen. I can't imagine how Pen could have possibly been more accommodating to us. She suggested a hike by the YMCA, we got lost, and called Pen. She not only drove out to find us on the road, but drove us to the trail-head, and then did the hike with us. She also accommodated our morning schedule by having breakfast ready by 7:00 AM each morning (so we could do an early hike one day and leave for the airport the next day), packed us treats for our summit hike, and was always available if we needed her. Pen - you were a great guest innkeeper. Thanks for making the weekend fun.

The B&B is also conveniently close to the entrance to RMNP (beat that early morning traffic), and far enough from Estes Park that you don't feel like you're in a Nebraska tourist trap (my gf is from Nebraska, people). The rooms are normal sized, the bathrooms are slightly small, the ceilings are slightly low, but the house is well kept and clean and nice (and with only 2 bedrooms you can easily make it a couples weekend). The living space and kitchen are also available at all times, and the multiple patios are a great place to sip tea at night while laughing about your failed hikes.

We are definitely staying here for our next RMNP hiking trip.

We've stayed at many B&B's and rate our experience at Eagle Cliff House right up at the top! Nancy is so warm and welcoming, made us outstanding breakfasts that fueled us well past noon on our hikes in the mountains, and gave us expert tips on trails to hike in RMNP. It was nice to be out of the craziness of Estes Park proper, and to be able to walk a short distance to take a hike along the beautiful Big Thompson River. Our room was quite comfortable and we had use of the pleasant living room. Can't say enough - we look forward to returning!

We got such a warm welcome from Nancy at Eagle Cliff House, we didn't really want to leave. Immaculately set out, comfy bed (with what looked like three mattresses on top of each other, it was so high!), and very, very, very good food (tying with Roger at the Anniversary Inn for 'Best food of our Rockies trip', I'd say). It's worth making a detour to stay here; have dinner at the Dunraven Inn, too.

All B and B's should take note of the way Nancy operates Eagle Cliff, with the help of Audrey! Everything I would expect (and more) from a BnB were present--a most gracious hostess, exquisite and hearty breakfasts, strong very tasty coffee, comfortable room and surroundings, convenient location (near RMNP), and the personal touches, such as afternoon tea, homemade cookies, and other snacks available for asking. Hikers and outdoor lovers will especially love this place, as it is only a couple of miles from RMNP where you will find some of the most awe-inspiring sights and hiking trails. And, Nancy will even give some great recommendations for hiking trails of different levels. I hope that we will be able to return some day! Until we meet again! :-) Thank you Nancy and Audrey from NC!

The Eagle Cliff House is wonderful. The owner is very sweet and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable at her B & B. She is also a very skilled cook. We loved her breakfast, even though we are really picky.

She does not have internet, or a large tv. We were apprehensive about going 'off the grid,' but it proved to be a fantastic experience for us. We visited with the owner and her friend, and even learned how to play Banana Grams. It was a fun night!

I highly reccomend staying here if you are traveling to Rocky Mountain National Park, the inn is very close to the park and its hiking trails. She is an experienced trail guide and gave us value able information for our hike.
