“A must stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2011 via mobile

I stayed at the Stonebrook September 1-4. Cottage 16 was a wonderful 2bedroom that is with in a stones throw to a running stream. The rustic ambiance of all the decor was a refreshing change from the usual hotel furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was top quality. I left the windows open to listen to the sound of the stream. There was a great hot tub on the back patio as well as a jacuzzi in the second bedroom. The location was great to the entrance of the national park as well as a quick dash to downtown. The staff was welcoming and accommodating .

My husband and I celebrated our 12th anniversary here. It was exactly what we were looking for - a stream right outside so we could hear the water all night, a jacuzzi tub in the room, light and airy room that was inviting and cozy all at once. I am so glad we picked the Stonebrook Resort! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms clean and well-designed with a kitchenette and fabulous porch overlooking the river. Mike was incredibly helpful and even gave us hiking advice that fit our needs perfectly! Definitely stay here! The rates are incredibly affordable for the quality!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 9B, which was a small suite, and perfect for us. The larger rooms look great for f...

The location is on the river. It is beautiful and Mike (the resort manager) will ensure that you have a most enjoyable time. The rooms are very clean and the grounds are well kept. We liked it so much, we extended our stay and look forward to a yearly reunion. -Tom & Pam

We stayed 3 nights in Suite 9B and the only bad thing was that we couldn't stay longer! Accomodations were very nice. Full kitchenette and grill for cooking, dining table in the room and one on the deck - where most of our meals were eaten, nice soft cozy bed and of course the sound of running water to fall alseep and wake up to each day. The location is perfect. Just off the main highway enough that you don't have any traffic noise or lights shining in your room.

Beautiful place to stay. RIght on the Fall River. Clean, quiet, and secluded. Mike is always friendly and willing to help. Our Riverfront suite was clean and afforded us as short trip to the Fall RIver Road Entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.

The suite had a balcony overlooking the river and mountainside. Hammocks were relaxing and a great addition to the property.

Hubby and I spent one evening in Cabin 1 for a couples weekend and we absolutely loved it. The cabin was recently renovated with beautiful furnishings and a fireplace. The sounds of the river rushing by our cabin was peaceful and serene. Mike, the manager of the resort, was kind and gracious. We wish we could have stayed longer and we will certainly be back!

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning of August for two nights in a streamside cabin ... we have stayed other places in Estes Park, but Stonebrook Resort was everything it's website advertised. The management was very attentive and friendly, the cabin was very clean and recently remodeled, the views and wildlife are superb. We plan to return here and will highly recommend it to others.
