No complaints: friendly staff, rooms are large and clean, centrally located, free WiFi, strong AC.

The best feature of the Travelodge Crescent City is the Taco Bell which is located in the back parking lot-they serve breakfast, while filling your room with the distinct smell of gorditas throughout the night.

My experience at this Travelodge was very good. The gal that checked us in was so nice and helpful. I can't remember her name, I wish I could. The room was OK- a little dated but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special but it did the job! I would stay at this Travelodge again if back in the area.

Stayed here a few weeks ago, and it was filthy. My roommate pulled out the end table between the beds, and it hadn't been swept for quite a while. The sheets were stained, and there's NO TELLING what was in the carpet. It crunched. Yuck. never again!

The place was clean but it was a bit loud from the outside traffic and the fast food right next to the room. At the end of the shift night the fast food throw out their trash in the most noisy way. But the rest of the place was fine. It does need a deep clean on their carpet but everything was fine.

This was exactly what we were expecting to get for the price we paid for the night, so no complaint there. There is no air condition in rooms BUT Crescent City is not the warmest place on earth so you can just open the door or window to get some cool, fresh air into the room. Sauna is (dry) electric sauna with about 7 rocks in stove. Hotel could improve it simply by adding some those nice beach rocks couple of blocks away. You need to get a separate magnetic slide card from the from lobby to access Sauna. Front Lobby gal is the best part about the whole joint here. She is really happy to show you a map of the local attractions (redwoods) and this lady knows what customer service is about. "Breakfast" in the "lobby" was coffee and banana/apple or Muffin split into several pieces. But no worries, there is Taco Bell or McDonalds near-by to get you going for the next day.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the front court yard. Back of the hotel is getting extra noise from traffic caused...

Do not stay here. I spent most of the night awake because of multiple fights in the parking lot and deliveries to the fast food places on the parking lot. Had to keep window open because of no air conditioning. Lots of stains on sheets. Gross. Towels had holes because they were so worn out.
