We were referred here while in Hawi. The restaurant is closed Monday through Wednesday so when we had earlier driven by it, we thought it was closed. We returned on a Friday night and it was packed but we had a reservation and were promptly seated. Having live music was a plus since most of the resort area restaurants lacked this. There was an 8 piece funk band and it felt like a private party. The restaurant is open air with no roof.
Food and drinks were above average and comparably priced to other resort area places. The vibe was what makes this place memorable.
