“Quick Overnight Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

We made a quick overnight stay here after visiting other areas of New Mexico, and needing to catch an early flight out of Albuquerque airport. This hotel was well located for that purpose, was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly. They picked us up after turning in our car after dinner, and took us to the airport the next morning with no waiting and with friendly staff.

This hotel was very convenient to the airport. It was clean and the breakfast was great. The only negatives were the size of the room and the price. I would recommend this hotel for anyone with a rental car to turn it the next day and it is clearly marked from the hotel to the airport.

I expected typical Hampton Inn quality when booking this hotel. The plus about this place is the staff - from the wonderful women who drive the airport van to the woman who checked us in on Saturday evening. Also, it appeared clean and was fairly comfortable. The breakfast was fine - good choices and decent coffee. Plus, the hotel is very convenient to the airport. What I didn't care for was the outside entry and the smallness of the room/bathroom. again, this was not a typical Hampton Inn. We didn't leave till around 7 in the morning but heard everyone who left much earlier.......luggage clunking along the sidewalk outside our room. A carpeted interior would have been nice!

We needed to stay near the airport because we were leaving Albuquerque in the morning. There were lots of hotels to choose from, but Hampton Inns are always nice and this was no exception. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful in recommending a restaurant and giving directions.

Staff was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The was clean and the beds were comfortable. The negatives were that the bathroom was very small, there was no refrigerator and the HVAC was just adequate. For the price and location you probably can not do any better. Would stay there again.

The room was nice enough as well as the staff (counter, breakfast and shuttle). The problem was with the street noise. I had a room in the front corner of the hotel, off of a very busy road. I heard each car and depending on how loud the car was, I felt the vibration. I also heard/felt each car that hit a manhole cover in the road. Because of this I would not stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel arriving and the day departing from Sunport airport, as far as Hampton Inns are concerns this was the worst Hampton Inn I have been to, this is because this is a motel converted into a Hampton Inn and is not your typical Hampton Inn. The hotel does however, have your typical Hampton breakfast, efficient and friendly personnel staff and the Hampton bedding. The rooms are clean and comfortable thought bathroom smaller than usual and hotel is convenient to airport. If you are expecting your usual Hampton Inn you will be disappointed, the hotel is good and I would stay here again if I need a good hotel, well priced and close to airport.
