4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Good location, good rooms. Clean and friendly.

We picked a pool view room, but the pool is internal so a little noisy until it shuts at 10pm. If you are looking to get an early night then you would want to avoid the pool view rooms.

Stayed in the old Comfort Inn Airport (previous location) several times and was pleased with service and rooms. The current Comfort Inn Airport is a major improvement. Nice rooms, a little small but, clean, comfortable and, quiet. Breakfast is typical of most hotels in this class, not bad, not great but good enough to start your day. Great staff. I'll be back.

I used to live in Albuquerque and I haven't been back in over a decade. I took my family back this summer for a comic book convention and to see the sights I grew up with. We stayed at The Comfort Inn on Yale. Most impressive. The staff put us in a pair of rooms designed for families with children, so, we had a door between the two rooms (102/104). The kids stayed out of our hair and everyone had their own space, couldn't ask for more. The staff was all very friendly and efficient. I actually had lengthy conversations with 3 of the managers and the owner as well. Great people. Another feature we all appreciated was the indoor heated pool and spa. Such a great set-up and very, very clean. There was an exercise room for those that need that daily workout, didn't have time for that on this trip (or any other day, but, that's just me). The location worked out perfectly for us because the convention was downtown (5 minute drive or $10 cab), can't beat that. The rates were great, hands down, best bang for your buck in the hotel world. We took advantage of the free breakfast almost every day, the fresh strawberry waffles were a huge hit with my kids. What impressed me the most about The Comfort Inn is the passion that the owner has for his hotel. He purchased it a few years ago and put all his heart and soul into the place. It definitely shows. Anytime we are back in Albuquerque, we will, without a doubt, be staying at The Comfort Inn on Yale.

Room Tip: The 102/104 combo is perfect for parents with kids that need an adjoining room. We had the whole SE...

My son and I have been staying here for 8 days as my mom is having her voice box removed to save her life at UNM. I have never met a more compassionate staff at any hotel I have stayed at. We will be here over a month so they gave us a good rate and are shuttling us to the hospital so we do not have to pay for a rental car. The rooms are great they look exactly like the pictures and the beds are extremely plush and comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. All around it's a GREAT place to stay!!!

Room Tip: If you have kids the rooms that have balconies are great because you can sit on the balcony and watc...

If you are ever in the Albuquerque area, I advise to stay at the Comfort Inn by the Albuquerque Airport. It is centrally located, and a great place to "headquarter" while seeing the wonderful sights of Albuquerque. I stayed at this Comfort Inn recently for business and Todd Rodgers and his crew took wonderful care of me, making me feel like the most important quest that was staying there. I also observed this same, great customer service with other guests that were staying there. Stay at this Comfort Inn, you will be glad you did.

Daniel at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Very close to airport and easy to get too. Could not beat the price. Indoor swimming pool and jacuzi as well. Hotel is located in a area that has many other hotels but after pricing others this was the best rate. Quality is just as good as the others in the area. Includes breakfast too.
