“Good access to the highway; family-friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We stayed here on back-to-back Saturdays during a road trip that took us through Albuquerque twice. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are large and clean. Our kids liked the swimming pool. The breakfast is good, though the self-serving areas can get very cramped when too many people are eating at the same time. We'll stay here again on our next trip through Albuquerque.

Room Tip: If you stay on the second or third floors, use the stairs. The elevator is really slow.

I enjoyed reading your comment today and glad that you decided to stay with us on your return trip.. Our breakfast is pretty popular and does get a little crowded at times. Thanks for choosing Best Western and we hope to see you again down the road.

My sons and I stopped here on our way to Denver from Phoenix and enjoyed the location, friendliness of the staff and room size so much that we stayed here again on our way home. My older son liked that he could sleep in the front room and have his own TV. Breakfast was perfect to get us started on our next day of driving. My younger son loved the chocolate chip cookies that were at the front desk when we checked in. The rooms were a perfect size and the 2 TV's made it easy with 2 boys who wanted to watch different things. The beds were very comfortable and I found the hotel very easy to get to from the freeway. Very easy to hop on I-25!

We get that a lot. Our rooms really are the some of the largest in the City and having the 2 separate areas and separate TV's certainly are a plus, especially in your case.

And yes, the entire hotel has new mattresses, Serta Perfect Sleepers and our guests just love them.

I am glad that you chose to stop again on your return trip and we hope to see you again down the road.

We stayed for a week and has the best experience. The pool is warm, hottub was hot, the rooms comfy and the breakfast was always top notch. Getting to the hotel is a challenge the first time, but after getting in, it was easy every other time. Great location to come and go.

because there is no address 4630 pan American Freeway NE in my GPS, it has only 4900.
Getting there was a little bit tricky in rush hour traffic as the hotel is on a side
street right off the freeway, not service road of Freeway. The room and common areas
are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The check-in/out was very quick and easy. The suite was very spacious, beds were very comfortable, pool was nice for the kids to play. The breakfast was good. furniture are little bit outdated.

Thank You for your comments on your recent stay. I agree that our entrance can be a little tricky at first, but once you get here it seems easy after that. Our breakfast and pool certainly are a nice feature and our staff are very attentive and helpful.
We hope to see you on your next trip to our area.

After spending one night near the plaza, we wanted one night in a quieter area. Lots of reasonable food options in the area. The Best Western was very inviting. Large "living room" at check in. Our room was on the first floor and had a Jacuzzi! This was a very nice upgrade. I am a Diamond member, did not ask for the upgrade, but since a room was available, the motel gave it to us. Someone previously must have smoked in the room, had a stale smell to it. Front desk gave me a bottle of Febreeze to squirt, not exactly the Lysol I asked for. Breakfast was nice in the morning. Close to freeway but still a couple of miles away. Close enough to the Plaza that it was a short drive. I would stay here again.

Very large two room suites that are very quiet despite being right off the freeway. Getting there is a little tricky in rush hour traffic as the hotel is on a side street right off the freeway. The room and common areas are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Traveling with 4 grandchildren ranging in age from 15 down to 8 poses a few challenges when it comes to lodging. We found this facility to meet all our needs. The suite was very spacious, beds were very comfortable, pool was nice for the kids to expel some excess energy after 9 hours in the car. The breakfast was the best we have ever experienced in any motel. The check-in/out was very quick and easy. We could not have asked for anything more and would stay here again and will recommend this motel to others.

Well it sounds like you had an excellent visit with us and we were able to satisfy all of your needs. Our large 2 room suites and pool area are very welcoming for weary guests that have spent all day driving. And thank you for sharing your experience with your friends and family.
