The property was well kept and very clean. The staff were very friendly and interacted with Bella, our #160 lb. mastiff. Room was large and also well kept and clean. The Indian theme was very interesting. Would recommend and return.

I stayed here for a week during Balloon Fiesta. My room was lovely, comfortable, had a balcony overlooking the flight patterns (the "Albuquerque box"), and was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping folks. Breakfast was excellent; Missy, the server, was a true treasure: pleasant, cheerful, and ran her wheels off always, providing wonderful service. Cinnamon rolls, muffins, and continental breakfast were all great and plated beautifully. Typical NM dishes are all good - try the green Chile stew in a bread bowl, do. The lobby has something glorious to see in every direction. The three female bartenders were all outstanding and altogether helpful, informative, and efficient. My only quibble is that lunch is not served and, although breakfast goes on from early, early morning to 4 pm, there are no lunch items on it. There is a new food service director, however, and he promises to get this changed. I hope he does!! The lounge does not open until 4, but one can order food from the dinner menu there when it does open. Half-priced drinks at happy hour - margaritas are fabulous!! (Bartenders should not also be helping in the dining room, making it appear that the lounge is not manned, IMHO). Other hotels in the area also provide to-go coffee for folks off on bus transportation at O'Dark-30 to see the balloons lift off at sunrise. Nativo provides only water, which is welcome, but the same containers and a timer could be used for coffee (there is a coffee maker in each room, but at that hour, I'm not really good at much of anything). It's just a gorgeous hotel and ALL of the front desk people could not be more helpful!! FYI, because it's close, some of the balloon flyers stay here, too, which is great fun when chatting on the elevator and they've just come down. (Note to management: Starbucks coffee, served in the dining room, should be advertised more effectively - might keep people from walking to the adjacent Starbucks for their fix on a fairly dangerous road). Free internet is provided - always a plus. I love this place and you will, too!

We booked our room based on Tripadvisor reviews way back in March for our trip to Balloon Fiesta. Then the reviews kinda changed, I contacted the manager via email and expressed some concerns, I got an email response right away.
OK, that being said.....We do not have one complaint about the Nativo Lodge!
Check in was smooth and the staff friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The proximety to Fiesta Park was great. We were able to see the balloons inflight from our balcony. The lobby is lovely and while we didn't get an opportunity to enjoy the pool and hot tub, they looked clean and inviting. Starbucks within walking distance which was great for us because we couldn't figure out how to work the coffee maker, (two of them) lol!
Breakfast at the Spirit Winds cafe, was plentiful and delish. We got the vibe it was a cool, comfortable, laid back kind of place.
Would definately stay again!

Room Tip: While our room "faced" fiesta park, we did not see the ascent of the balloons because ther...

I stayed in a double room with my 12 year old. The room was very comfortable, bed, pillows, chair, bathroom. The balcony was an added plus. We decided to eat dinner in Spirit Winds restaurant, went down around 730pm on the 9th of this month. We arrived and were able to seat ourselves, waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, the coffee I ordered was being brewed so that took an additional 10 minutes of time. Then the order for our dinner, shrimp cocktail and quesadilla. Simple, but it took close to 1/2 hour for the meal to be delivered to our table. I know it wasn't the server's fault, we were hungry otherwise would have left the room. The only other item that was not very good was the coffee, I made a cup, took a sip and really couldn't drink any more of it.
If I need to make another reservation I would stay here again, but bring my own coffee next time.

The whole experience was good, my 12 year old enjoyed swimming in the "indoor/outdoor" pool and sitting in the jacuzzi (w/o bubbling).
I would tell people that this is a nice hotel but beware of the restaurant, that is really the only downfall I see.

The reception personnel both at night and early the next morning were both personable and official. They made our incoming and leaving a pleasure.

Thank you and look forward to possibly staying there next year for the balloon fiesta.

Room Tip: Rooms on the northwest side were great, could see the horizon with the sun setting. Wonderful.

We had a total of 14 family members stay for 5 nights. The rooms were comfortable & you can watch the balloons during Balloon Fiesta right from your balcony. The staff is excellent & friendly. Only thing I would have complaints about is the noise from the interstate. Otherwise GREAT place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms on the side of the interstate are noisy from all the traffic.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this Hotel and really enjoyed its unique New Mexican stylings.
The staff was friendly and attentive. You won't find this type of decor just anywhere.
Overall clean and comfortable. Great location to many Albuquerque attractions as well.
