“Love the Native American Indian Decor!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Walking into this hotel you immediately see the Native American Indian Decor which is quite outstanding.

We were only there two nights and not in our room that much due to helping my son move. It fit what we wanted to, was rather clean, and close to where we had to go.

This location did not have a free breakfast which would have been nice, but we did fine without it also.

We really didn't plan the trip that well it was a little impromptu . We chose the hotel on the pictures on line and the good price . Well it was just as beautiful when we arrived conveniently located but most of all the service from the staff was great . Made you feel at home!Jessica, Justin , Valeria and Nateshia gave us great directions told us places to go things to see even helped me with my GPS on my phone ! Also mailed some things we purchased on our trip to our home , they were great! We' ll be back Kim and Joe , Thanks:) !

i have stayed at the Nativo Lodge amny times but this was my last stay!!! I always enjoyed the feeling of connection to the past that the lodge seemed to impart, now you get the feeling of being run down. The carpet in the room was filthy, there was hair covering the floor in the bathroom with numerous cracked tiles and there were cockroaches in the room!!!! Unfortunately when i addressed these issues at the front desk, the young girl working did not feel they required a level of concern from her that required her to look up from her computer screen.

Thank you for your feedback, I have addressed these issues with our housekeeping staff and can assure that these issues will be resolved. I sincerely apologize for the experience at the front desk, these are serious issues and most definitely require concern. I have addressed this issue with my staff and can assure that this will not happen again. Thank you for sharing these comments with us and we hope to welcome you back on a future visit.

due to their lack of secuirty my car had sugar in gas tank the morning of July 7th- we stayed July 4, 5, and 6th and discovered the sugar the morning of the 7th while gasing up at the Circle K. front desk said you park at your own risk. our room was on the first floor and the wall behind our room can be accessed by anyone as it is not enclosed. aside from incident the parking lot is not well maintained - pot holes all around and the maids leave doors open and come in when told NOT TO! where else can guests park and be assured it is safe? our car was locked and and items covered and obviously this was a prank kids were pretty confident they could get away with - probably kids from the adjacent government housing near hotel. non-guests use this parking lot and the side road as an easement because no one stops them day or night! STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Room Tip: stay away from first floor

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for your experience with the parking lot. This is the not the norm here and is the first incident of its kind that we have heard of here. We do have security nightly that regularly patrols our parking lot as well as maintaining the security of the hotel. We do try and keep our parking lot for our guests only, though being so close to many attractions and many places to eat, it can be a task to keep it closed off to others.

We loved the native indian decor throughout the hotel. The staff was very friendly and assisted us in recommending dinning and recommended events to visit in Albuquerque. The room was clean and functional. The TV in the room is out dated, I guess we are used to the flat screens but it worked and we watched our favorite cable channels. We had the Continental breakfast very good, they serve Star Bucks coffee, a good kick start to start off the morning. We will stay there in future travels to Albuquerque.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Right when my husband and I arrived in the room there were so many things wrong beginning with the a/c being turned off in the room and an overall old smell. There was also a bug in the shower, dust on fixtures throughout the room, no soap, and dirty towels. We called the front desk for new towels and they said they would be up when someone was available. After 30 minutes of waiting we tried calling the front desk twice (no answer) and eventually my husband had to get the towels himself. The beds are uncomfortable, unclean, and the sheets are flimsy (think picnic napkins). The "fitness center" is small and smells musty, and there were no towels provided in the pool area. We booked the hotel as a 3-star hotel, but it was downgraded to a 2.5 by the time we got there. This hotel is marketed as a "luxury 3-star hotel" on their site, but with the lack of clean rooms, helpful service, or equipped amenities I think this hotel barely could earn 2 stars.

My family and I stay here for 3 nights. I was spectacle after reading the reviews regarding cleanliness but when we checked in the room was clean and the no smells in room or in hallway. We enjoyed the pool but had to wait for towels to be delivered. After waiting we just went up to our rooms and near the elevator the front desk clerk gave us some towels. ( I had my two daughters 1 and 6yrs old) The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The decor is very nice and the parking lot felt safe. There is a Starbucks at walking distance and also a mexican fast food place if you are interested in eating at their restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will consider staying in the future.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and once we shut our door we had no noise from outside cars or people ne...
