Stayed 3 nights for a business trip. The room was comfortable and quiet. Even though there was a wedding reception in the main area, my room down the hall was quiet. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good and the service was good. The pool is very nice. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Nativo Lodge for two nights. The property is very unique with a great New Mexican feel. You can tell the hotel is older, but they have done a nice job updating it. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a view of Sandia mountain. The rooms are quite nice and comfortable. About the only thing we noticed is that the ceilings are very low. We did venture to the 5th floor and noticed it was much hotter as others have mentioned. If you stay here, request the lower floors during the summer. The swimming pool was nice, but my son said it smelled a little strange. It wasn't dirty or anything, just smelled like a different chemical being used. Otherwise, the pool area was nice but didn't have much seating. The Nativo Lodge is located in a great area. There are some great restaurants in the area (we found Monroe's excellent).

All-in-all, we liked the Nativo. We were able to get a two for one night deal which made it very reasonable. At that price, this place was a 4 out of 5 stars. At full price, I would give the place 3 stars at best. So look for specials before booking.

Room Tip: Look for specials and ask for rooms on the lower floors.

Stayed here as part of a 3 week road trip, as we did last year. What a difference a year made.

This lodge must've changed management or are on a budget as many areas are lacking. The native american artwork is still wonderful, and the breakfast was very good. Thats where the excellence ends.

The room was quite warm when we arrived and it never fully cooled off, even with the a/c running full blast. Our room wasn't stocked; it was missing kleenex, coffee, glasses and half the towels. When i requested at the front desk, everything was provided -- except the kleenex. The clerk said they aren't available in the evening, but would be tomorrow morning. Very odd. The toiletries aren't from aveda anymore, and not nearly as nice. Its also showing wear & tear with worn shower curtains and torn bath mat, eww.

The pool was very crowded so we didn't use it. The hot tub spa was out of order & they didn't know when it would be repaired.. The beautiful teepee / tipi near the pool was not lighted this time, it was totally dark -- were they saving on their electric bill? Along with conserving on A/C?

It's still strange that while all rooms have balconies, none have chairs. Not even the cheap plastic kind that would be appreciated.

This was one of our most anticipated places, and one of the most disappointing. I doubt we'll return anytime soon.

Room Tip: ask for a room that 'might' have two chairs you can pull out onto the balcony.

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking time for some feedback for our hotel. We appreciate you coming back to us for an exciting road trip. I apologize your stay was less than satisfactory with us. I am glad my front desk was able to accommodate you with our amenities upon request. We do have a lot of families enjoying our pool and hot tub during the summer. I will definitely bring to management your suggestion of chairs on our balconies, I also believe that would be nice to relax in. Thank you again and have a great day.

The Nativo was great! The price very good. It is right off the interstate and easy to find. The food was great and very reasonable. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. The staff was so friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor. We thought it was very quiet and lovely!

The trip was business first, then the start of a holiday. We loved the native American flavour of the decor. All staff were most helpful, and restaurant staff particularly friendly and eager to please (thanks Natalie, Kylie and Tanya). I appreciated the pool, gym and spa.

Room Tip: I liked our view of the Sandia mountains.

Stayed one night on the way to Arizona. Very nice Native American artwork throughout the Lodge but that's about it. The room was, at best, average. Carpet need some serious cleaning and the bathroom, while clean, was from early the Hotel 6 era. The bed was comfortable. The street noise was very bad all night long...they need to supply earplugs when renting these rooms. The breakfast at the restaurant was equally disappointing. The service was slow and the food was bland.

I paid a promotional prepay rate for the room but I could never see anyone paying the full rate.

Room Tip: Don't rent a room facing the street at the front of the property...The street noise will keeep y...

My husband and I stayed 1 night at the Nativo. The staff was helpful and very polite. The king size bed was right up there in comfort to the Westin hotels that we have stayed at. The room was fairly quiet, although being by the pool, we could hear the kids having fun. The small bar area seemed to be popular. One review said that it was a little worn around the edges, which was evident by the nattered sheer curtain. The Nativo is very close to many restaurants and I-25, which makes it very convenient. The biggest surprise was how wonderful the free continental breakfast was. Made me wish we had eaten dinner there the night before.
