“Outstanding Hotel - Impeccable Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2011

I've stayed here twice this year while traveling on business. On both occassions, my expectations were met or exceeded in every aspect. The quality of the hotel and guest rooms are evident upon first sight. The staff is extremely courteous and professional. The downtown location is excellent. The one room service meal I ordered was outstanding - spicy Souhwest breakfast burrito. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Albuquerque for business or pleasure.

The staff was so friendly and they were helpful. The decor was beautiful. We were looking for southwestern ambiance and we got it. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. At night we sat out on the patio in the rocking chairs, surrounded by the pretty landscaping. The restaraunt was nice also. The waiter was great, told us funny jokes, and took good care of us. We enjoyed him so much, my sister in law and I had our picture taken with him. We were near Old Town, and two museums, which was convenient. I can't think of anything bad to say. Would love to go back. Between staying for four nights and our AAA, we got a good price too.

this was our last night in New Mexico. We stayed close to family and the airport and Old Town. The hotel was a ghost town, and a dirty one. There was no bell hop to help us in the middle of the afternoon when we checked in. The bell hop was gone the next morning as well at 6:30 when we left. The lobby was not clean, our room was missing a refrigerator. The best is when I went to take a shower, the bath towels ere missing. I used the robe instead. Well to my surprise, someones eye glasses were in the robe. GROSS.....I showered, dried myself with little hand towels and stormed downstairs...put on my full blown New yorker attitude. The lowered the price of the room and sent up towels...GREAT....Stay away from the place

My friend and I were getting tired of staying at the chain hotels so we switched it up and decided to stay here. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Decor is unique to the area, pretty and big! Rooms were super clean and there is a good bar and 2 restaurants, one that's fine dining and both serve local cuisine. I ordered room service from both restaurants and the food a service was good! Of course it was a little pricey but worth it after a long day of traveling. The next day we were able to walk to old downtown and see the sites. Super convenient! Highly recommend staying here!!!

Hotel Albuquerque is just fine if you are looking for a hotel beyond the chains at the edge of town. It is within walking distance of Old Town and is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is a huge bulding and would be great for the business traveler or families wanting an on site restaurant. My main complaint was the air conditioner did not seem to be working properly. There was a thermostat, but the room unit ran constantly and there was a damp area in front of the unit. In fairness to the hotel, I did not tell anyone...next time I will.
