We are retired and took a long awaited travel trip. We were gone for 3 1/2 weeks. In addition to staying with friends, we had 12 hotel stays. This was by far the nicest stay and we had several that were quite nice. But this was tops in all categories: price, room size and décor, amenities, food, etc. The breakfast was great, the pool & hot tub were nice, there was even a free social hour in the evening, plus a free paper. If you wanted they had a bbq and offered games, had a library. All in all - top notch for a moderately priced room. We also stayed at a very expensive Best Western in Seattle by the Space Needle that was top notch, but expensive and breakfast was not free, plus paid parking. This hotel was 5 miles or so out of our way, (I-40) but well worth it. Also, for lunch or dinner it is right next to a Village Inn where the food was also good.
