“Reunion-perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

We staged our family reunion at the Sarabande B&B -- 14 people, ages 5 to 86, from six states. Everyone of us was happy with the comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. The pool was a big attraction for us since the July days were hot. The hosts and hostesses could not have been more friendly and helpful. We all would go back in a minute if we could.

It was my turn to host the family reunion. I wanted to make it easy so that I could enjoy the weekend with my extended family. The Sarabande was the perfect setting--far enough in the country to be peaceful but close enough to Albuquerque to enjoy its attractions. There was plenty of space and lots of small patios for sitting and chatting. The pool was a big attraction as were the games and puzzles. The breakfasts were outstanding, with the owners accommodating all my family's diet requirements. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a relaxing weekend.

Great location beautiful interior and exterior nice pool and staff was great. The only complaints no ac in summer so room was very hot. Food was not organic or natural so we did not stay for bfast but a beautiful retreat would recomend if neither of those things are important to you.

We completely enjoyed our stay, although just one night, at Sarabande. Next time, I will be sure to plan for more time in this wonderful little bed and breakfast and ABQ. Alan was a gracious host who made us feel most welcome even though our visit was brief. He suggested the Church Street Cafe in Old Town, which I would also suggest. Great meal, affordable, and wonderful patio dining. We enjoyed access to the lap pool, our private patio, and the peaceful path behind the rooms which was bursting with beautiful flowers! We were grateful that we could bring our four year old son, and we felt at ease when we saw other young children at the inn. We haven't been able to find this kind of bed and breakfast kid-friendly lodging very often. It was a treat for us and a treat for our son. Thank you Alan and family!

Room Tip: We liked the Lilac room as it had separate sleeping arrangements for our son, with french doors that...

This was my favorite B&B we stayed in as we toured NM. Charming decor. We had the Jasmine room. The sky light was awesome, and the pot belly stove quaint. The hosts were delightful to chat with and made a wonderful breakfast! Minutes away from Old Town. I'd definitely go back and encourage friends to stay there as well.

My wife and I spent 4 quiet romantic nights at Sarabande. Allan was quite the host and his breakfasts were wonderful!

We stayed in the Rose room but all the rooms we viewed were very nice.

Room Tip: The Rose Room....very nice, private patio.....
