“Best Budget Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Stayed at La Quinta in Colorado Springs and one in Albequerque, NM and they were great! Very clean and the staff could not be more helpful. The breakfast is also very good for this modest priced hotel! I would recommend this to anyone.

Room Tip: Stay in the middle building. You have a nice courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy the weather an...

Don't let the location scare you...a bit industrial. BUT the hotel and their property are excellent. They cater to pets, have a great walking area for them and it's pretty good for us owners too! Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was yummy, staff was great. Would highly recommend and stay again

In the process of moving from TX to AZ, we needed to spend the night in Albuquerque in a place that took pets (a small Maltese) and had parking for a 27 ft Penske truck pulling a trailer with a car on it. What a blessing to find this La Quinta that was able to meet all our needs and then be much more than we expected. The room was large and pleasant with a sitting area, microwave and refrigerator. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were able to get a good night's rest as the hotel was quiet. In the morning we were again surprised at the very nice breakfast which included fresh fruit salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and even biscuits and gravy. Everyone at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I haven't stayed at a La Quinta in many years, but if this is typical of the service and care they provide, we will definitely stay at them again in the future.

Our room was very spacious, with crisp, clean sheets and upscale decor. Front desk staff were pleasant and professional. Only slight demerit is the location -- convenient and central, yes, but also pretty unattractive. (It's on a busy commercial street right next to a trucking/storage facility.) Despite this, we found it extremely comfortable, and an excellent value. Recommended.

My husband and I and our 7 yr. old Cocker Spaniel spent one night each going and coming to Denver. The hotel staff was very pleasant. The room was spotless, with plenty of clean towels. The beds were very comfortable (wish we could have stayed longer). The breakfast was excellent (both hot and cold). Our dog really liked the room (on the third floor). It was quiet, and he got used to it right away. He's a nervous dog and afraid of every little noise. On the return we were assigned a room on the first floor right near the vending machines and ice machine (he had a hard time sleeping that night with too much noise). We'll definitely return, but will request the third floor again. Nice patio area with grass for the dogs to roam. All in all, a great place to stay where you really feel welcome!

Room Tip: Top floor with dogs is best.

Based on the reviews, I chose this hotel. Whoops! First of all, the location is not great. It is located in a parking lot/industrial complex. Views of heavy machinery. Secondly, the hotel is a bit shabby for a La Quinta Inn. The carpeting in the halls and in our room desperately needs replacing. The room was clean. But worn. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price, this hotel is not worth it. It really needs some updating.
