“birthday treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

My girlfriend and I always go to the St. James Tea Room for our April birthdays. It is a very pleasant, relaxing way to spend time catching up with each other away from our busy work schedules. The staff take excellent care of us and the food and tea is delicious. No cell phones allowed - an extra benefit!

“The Best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

My daughter and I have had high tea in San Francisco, Paris, Boston and other various locales for a number of years. St. James Tearoom was our best experience ever! We love having our tea in our own private room. We loved that they follow a monthly theme both in planning the tea items and serving it. The food and tea selections were memorable.

“An amazing place to visit with friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

What a delightful experience! Excellent tea, food, and service. With a two-hour tea session you receive three different teas (pre-selected, you don't get to choose) as well as a wonderful assortment of food - it definitely serves as a full meal. In the summer they sometimes make one of the teas iced. Adorable, Victorian-inspired decor (definitely whimsical and feminine), down to the uniforms of the girls who work there. Some rooms are curtained off for privacy. A wonderful place to catch up with friends! Loved it and will be going back as often as possible.

“Relaxing, beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

My team and I from work visited and had a wonderful time. Very private, relaxing and zen. I definitely plan to return. My only suggestion would be to kick up the A/C in the summer. When drinking hot tea, and sitting in beautifully covered damasque chairs, it got a little warm.
