“Cash only, tacky ATM in dining room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

Food is good, chile too hot to eat. Great place to bring visiting friends from out of town. Give them the real chile burn.. If it's flavor your going for there are many options better suited without the heat. The fact you can only pay cash bothers me. Doesn't matter they provide an ATM, it's just unprofessional and tacky.

“Good food reasonable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

Our hotel had recommended this. Good food, service. Able to eat outdoors--while it snowed at home! At first glance it is nothing fancy but good.

“Consistently great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

I brought a friend to this restaurant and it was their first time tasting New Mexican food. It was a hit! The chips and salsa were perfect, the plate was presented well and the sopapillas were perfect! This place is a great hole in the wall in Abq!

“Satisfying, healthy nuevomexicano food, vegetarian options”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

fI've been here twice, the first time I ordered the BLUE CORN enchiladas with green chile which was very good. Most recently, I had chile rellenos. They came with beans on the side, green chile, and excellent potatoes. Portions were good, food hot, service low key and efficient.

This is a great place to go when you want some "cleaner" (a bit more health conscious and also with vegetarian options) New Mexican food in a low key atmosphere. A good standby that you can trust.

“Top notch red chile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

If you like red chile, go to El Patio. I rate as second to none in that category. Had the classic Carne Adovada, and, despite having had a tooth pulled a two days earlier, had one of the best meals in my life. Hot, sweet, and very flavorful. And the meat was perfectly tender, but not too mushy or overcooked. Simply some of the best New Mexican food i've ever had.
