“Authentic Made-on-the-Premises New Mexican Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

WOW!!! Had an eye appointment next door and lucked into this place.

My wife is a native New Mexican, I have eaten all around this state for over 30 years...and this place is the real thing.

Red or green chile? Christmas (red and green at the same time)? Both are excellent.
We had beef tacos and huevos rancheros. Delicious!

They even chop up some bacon to put on the potatoes served with your eggs. Yummy!

Highly recommended...friendly father and son owners. Very attentive. Reasonably priced. Free parking.

Corner of Wyoming and San Antonio in NE Albuquerque. Call (505) 798-1970 if you get lost.

“Good, fast, affordable. Outstanding service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Stumbled on this little spot at lunch time. The chef/owner was very accommodating, taking the time to talk to us about New Mexican cuisine and gave us a complimentary sopiapilla that was extremely tasty. Even took the time to talk about how they make the dough for sopias and tortillas, how they're cooked, etc. We had a relleno with green chile and a stuffed sopiapilla with red chile. They were so delicious, and the portions were generous but not overwhelming. The red chile had a good amount of heat, even for someone who grows and eats ghost peppers. Wish we could have sampled the beer. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
