“Some of the best bread I have ever put in my mouth.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

House of Bread is FULL of a dozen or more great varieties of bread to take home and enjoy, and I think it's a great bread bakery on par, but a little different, from Panera. One of my favorites is the honey whole wheat, but I also like the white, sourdough, and cinnamon swirl, and House also has a few NM varieties of bread, including green chile. Also, good coffee.

Be sure to stop by House of Bread for your bread supplies if you are in Albuquerque.

“This is GREAT Bread!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

They have a green chili cheese bread that is truly amazing. So good and so fresh. Made only on Tuesdays and Fridays, it is worth the trip. Also, their Honey Whole Wheat is outstanding too. Honestly, all the bread is great. I haven't tried the pastries, but they look wonderful. They also serve breakfast and lunch. Excellent local bakery. Free samples.

“You will think you have died and gone to heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

Found this bakery by driving by. They bake many kinds of breads, sweet loaf breads, sweets, etc....and they do it all extremely well. Very helpful staff and free samples of breads. They slice it, too, if that's what you want. Delicious visit.

“Great Neighborhood Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

Always a good place to get bread and holiday items. We go there also for their lunch sandwiches. We stopped by recently in the morning for an espresso latte and a cinnamon roll. There is a small area with about 4 tables, not the best place for atmosphere, but the smells are fine. Get your treats and go to the near by park. They buy their grain from Montana Wheat and that is nice to see this local place sourcing from small companies in lieu of the big warehouses.
