“Great place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Loved our stay here for 2 nights while we went to Balloon Fiesta. Nice, wide pull thru with full hookups - Friendly, caring staff - even helped us find the owner of a lost dog that came to our trailer! Very clean campground, easy to find, easy to get on and off of I-25, and even though it is close to I-25, it was still very quiet. We look forward to our next visit and will definately stay here again!

We stayed at this campground because it was Balloon Fiesta week and we wanted to be in a good spot to go there and to Santa Fe and Old Town in Albuquerque and it was right there. It was a nice campground, nice showers, etc. What was different was that 2 nights in a row the management or owners hosted parties in the outdoor community area they have. The 2nd night they provided for the campers free hot dogs and hamburgers, salads, chips, pop, wine and margaritas! They also had a Mariachi band followed by a cover band that was really good. We left before the cover band started but we could easily hear it from our camper, which was the problem. It went on until way after 10 PM and, as I said, it was Balloon Fiesta week so we and lots of others in the park had to get up at 3:30-4 am to make it to the early events at Fiesta Park. Not good planning on their part since they said the party was to celebrate the Balloon Fiesta!

Our only wish was that we could have arrived to this little spot of paradise earlier. A very nice place to stay, even the dog loved it. They had everything. Very spacious pull-thrus, clean campground, They even had a pet exercise area! Restrooms & showers were very nice. Would stay here again!!!!

We stay at KOA's most of the time. This was one of the cleanest and well laid out Park we have stayed at. Great personnel and very helpful. Clean beautiful pool. If you are in the area this is the best place to stay.

On month long road trip, we stayed at several KOA locations. This location was clean an comfortable, but the cabins are a bit dated. In ours in particular, the bunk mattress didn't quite fit the bed right so one of the kids slept at a slant. The cabins are very close to the bathrooms which is nice.

We stay here multiple times a year and also store our RV there during the winter months. The owners are super and the camp workers are very friendly and helpful. They have a fenced in dog area for your pets which is a great plus. The location is so very convenient to restaurants and shopping too.

We stayed in the one room cabin and were pleasantly suprised. The cabin is pretty standard with bunk bed and double bed, small ledge and stool and TV with many channels. Restrooms and showers are clean. You park in front of your cabin and all the cabins are close to the restrooms. Great location of KOA close to Albuquerque and an hour to Santa Fe the Rail Runner can take you to either location which is only about a mile away from the KOA. Staff is very nice and friendly!
Restaurants are close by you really got to try Twisters which has authentic New Mexican burritos with awesome green chile! Give it a try.
