“A Fun Evening....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

We just had a very fun evening.....The play started as you walked in....We were seated with another couple. They were very nice and added to the fun of the evening.....

The play was entertaining....well written....and fit the venue....and kept you guessing.....til the end.....I did solve the mystery....

The staff/actors were very attentive. They kept all the glasses full.....Checked in on everyone....
Very personable....

The only real complaint was the food and the bar staff......
The chicken was at best lukewarm....had couple spoonfuls of sauce....
The real problem came with the mashed potatoes...they were full of green chili....
Not a bit for flavor...it totally overpowered the potatoes....and really burned....not nice...
And the dessert was not very appetizing....The color of the carrot cake was off....the cake itself was very cardboard-ish.....

And the bar staff had to be requested in order to anything delivered.....
I would have likely ordered more to drink if it wasn't such a hassle...........
I understand that the hotel was in charge of the food and the bar service....but it
really did effect my enjoyment of the evening.....

5-stars for the entertainment
5-stars for the service
3-stars for the food and bar service.....

Would I do it again? Likely....

Thank you for visiting us and taking the time to leave us a detailed review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our show.

For the food portion, we do take information seriously and will pass that along to the kitchen. Most of the issues you mentioned have not been the case, but problems can occur.

As for the cocktail service in room, it is a courtesy of the hotel as you noted, and we try and convey that. Foul Play Cafe does not have the licenses to have our own bar service and this is the only way we are currently able to have alcohol served with our meals. We are sorry to hear that the service was slow the night you attended, but we frequently must share our server with the bar itself, and room-service and do suggest going directly to the bar for faster service.

“I solved the Mystery!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014 via mobile

I had the most awesome time! The dinner was quite a wonderful 4 course meal and the entertainment was great! It was so nice to be able to even participate as a guest in the place where the mystery occurred, but not to have a key role!
I solved the murder and won a Foul Cafe T-shirt! It was so much fun!
My boyfriend and I plan to return for another show! :)

“Fun Night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

I attended with my brother and his wife and my 16 year old nephew and 12 year old niece. Had a great time and laughed all the way through the play. The actors were in character from the time the doors opened till the end of the play. I would recommend this play to everyone. A must see-do in Albuquerque.

Fantastically fun. I would recommend this to anyone who has never been to a dinner theater. The interaction between cast and dinners was alot of fun
