Not a bad place, but you get the feeling the staff doesn't care. They go through the motions, but that is it. Room was clean, loud however. Breakfast was hot, but nothing to write about. I guess you could say I am damning with faint praise.

Stayed one night March 2. Staff competent. Room well furnished except for the CRT television. The building is weel maintained but predates ADA it seems. Widening of bathroom door created the oddity that I could open the door but not leave the room. Must stand outside the door sweep. Also I saw no cookies.

I stay at the country inns and suites a lot.
This one in particular is very well run, the rooms seem very new and well kept.
From check-in to Check-out there were no problems, and they were more than happy to accomodate my request for a ground floor room
A good nights sleep in a suite room.
They also referred me to a delivery pizza place that had great pizzas.

We are here now and it is terrific. Close to airport and with a shuttle on demand (the shuttle driver was sick when we arrived, so the front desk had us take a taxi (5 min) and then reimbursed us).

The bed is every bit the equal of more expensive hotels. Could do with a couple of more pillows (it has four on our king bed, and they are decent pillows.)

The front desk staff suggested Pizza9 for delivered food — good call. We got a salad, pizza, and cheesecake, and all are wonderful.

Plus the coffee-maker center has not only coffee, but herbal tea and green tea — excellent; all hotels should have these as standard amenities by now, but many do not.

No noise problems at all; to the contrary, our room is very quiet. But we are on the third floor.

Well done, Country Inn and Suites!

I hesitate to give a hotel a less than good/excellent rating when there's nothing they can do to correct a problem, in this case, noise from the room directly above. No, it wasn't party noise, loud music or dogs barking - it was footsteps and one dropped something or other that startled the heck out of us. This is a problem of cheap construction. Otherwise, the staff is wonderful, the free breakfast amazing, the room beautifully furnished and the hotel is convenient to lots of attractions, in addition to easy access to ABQ airport.

Room Tip: If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room on the third floor. Don't worry about road noi...

This hotel was booked the night before we needed it. It was fine. The room was a bit small, the bathroom was old but it was fine. The airplanes didn't bother us. The pool was closed for the season.....What can I say? It DID look like an excellent free breakfast though. They had hot food as well as the usual oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, etc. It did the trick :)

And the property convenient to the airport for my early morning departure. The smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies permeated the lobby upon my arrival. The room was spacious, the bed reasonably comfortable but the tube TV was old and small. And, get this, because my night at the inn was on a Monday, I looked forward to watching Monday Night Football from the comfort of my room; however, ESPN was not available in any of the rooms! Only in the lobby. Go figure. The Albuquerque Country Inn was typical of this tier of hotels/motels, very OK but not much more…

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the Interstate.
