“O.K. but not as comfortable as we would have liked.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2008

Did not sleep well. Kept hearing people walking by talking. Husband said he didn't know if his problem was that his mattress was too soft (mine was fine) or if he was worrying about the night latch on the door being broken. I like the fact that room service was available from the Owl Cafe across the street even tho' we didn't try it out. Also, discovered that the Owl Cafe gives a 10% discount to anyone staying at any of the hotels on or around Hotel Circle. Husband was not pleased with free breakfast facility. Said that about 16 people were competing for 3 small tables. Husband was very unhappy when we were charged small fee for safe that we didn't use.

We came to Albuquerque for the State Fair weekend and stayed at the Days Inn NE on Eubank and I40 over the weekend. The rooms were decent but they had 2 double beds instead of 2 queens..which made our family a little comfortable to spend the night in. But overall the Hotel was nice...my kids loved the Indoor Pool and the Spa. The location was nice too, there are a lot of restaurants and shopping places nearby. I'd recommend this Hotel.

We are seniors traveling on a budget. My handicapped wife and I stayed in room #122, a handicapped drive-up king bed room, on a Friday, 4 April, 2008. The overall appearance of the motel and lobby were fine. Check-in was a snap. The desk staff was cordial. The price was right ($54.06 total) booked through Trip Rewards BUT on receiving final billing we noticed that we were charged an additional $1.07 for the room safe which we never used. Seems this is standard procedure at this motel. The room was large though somewhat over furnished and was very dirty. There were no lingering odors in the room. The bed was moderately comfortable. The bathroom was quasi clean but lacked amenities. The shower plumbing leaked but the water pressure was OK. The drainage, however, was deplorable and there was no bathroom fan. A moderate continental breakfast was offered. The room was semi-quiet and safety precautions were in place. We might, or might not, stay here again but only after giving serious consideration to other motels in the area.

  • Liked — Close to the Interstate

This was a great bargain for the price. Conveniently located when I came to town to visit old friends, having lived in ABQ a while back. The front desk was helpful and friendly, the indoor pool and hot tub an unexpected bonus. The Owl cafe is across the street, with some of the best food in town. Try the spicy chicken soup. The rooms were always clean and well tended. I was very satisfied.

  • Liked — friendly staff up front
  • Disliked — a couple of minor wallpaper tears in bathroom

We came to Albuquerque a day earlier than our reservation at the Sandia so we decided to stay at Days inn because of the price. We had some bad experiences with Days Inn in the past, but we were not disappointed. Our room was spotless and big enough for all three of us to have room to move around comfortably. We swam in the hotel pool that was just the right temp. The continental breakfast was perfect, just what we needed for a quick, overnight stay.

  • Liked — The pool area, the cleanliness of the room
  • Disliked — Staff could have been friendlier

Passing through Albuquerque, me and my husband found a pretty decent hotel right off I-40 to spend the night in. Not knowing that the fair was going on, they still gave us a pretty good rate. They also had a good breakfast with waffles, different cereals, fruits, etc and also an Indoor pool, jacuzzi and a sauna. The only thing that we didn't like was that the lighting in the room was a little too dark and that we were charged $10 for my little puppy....normally we only pay a deposit at other hotels that we've stayed in. Besides that, everything was excellent. The staff was very corteous too.

  • Liked — Breakfast, close to restaurants, Indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
  • Disliked — The lighting in the room wasn't as bright as we would't liked.
