Upon entering this carefully restored historic building guests are treated to welcoming greetings from staff as well as by large comfortably furnished public spaces decorated in muted desert colors with green plants and simple floral accents. For me, the stress of travel was lifted and I knew immediately that we had selected the perfect location for our four night stay.
Our king room was pristine and very quiet although the hotel was fully booked during our stay.
The breakfast, listed as extended Continental, provided choices for every taste from freshly cut fruit and yogurt, delicious pastries to two quiche choices each morning.
Parq Central is beautifully landscaped with a lovely outdoor dining space complete with a fountain as well as several conversational spaces. During our stay roses were in bountiful bloom providing luxuriant backdrops for a wedding and a graduation party.
The Parq Central, located close to the University of New Mexico, is an ideal location for reunions of friends and and families. The Railrunner, perfect for a day trip to Santa Fe, is only blocks away.
The rooftop lounge offers a serene setting for gathering anytime, but especially for a sunset Margarita.
