This is an excellent boutique hotel for a city the size of Albuquerque. I won't bother to repeat all the accolades of the other reviewers (which I think give an accurate picture) but will note that despite the raves, I gave it four, not five stars. I mean, have you stayed at the Four Seasons Aviara ? George V in Paris? Those are five star hotels...ok, ok, not a fair comparison, you don't get a room for under $200 per night at either one. (we had a roomy small suite for $220 per night.) Minor negatives: Although the hotel seems to have excellent soundproofing, if you are a very light sleeper request a room away from the interstate highway. We could hear muffled traffic noise in our room at night. It was not bothersome to us, may be to you. Bedroom lighting was "romantic" (meaning not enough light to see.) Part of being a green hotel, I guess. Also, the hotel has no restaurant but it does provide an excellent included breakfast (quiche, fruit, yogurt, various baked goods (all freshly prepared) cereals, bagels, etc. And good coffee. Also has a nice small cocktail lounge on the roof. I recommend you stay here if the location works for you.
