“Great bike path”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2012

We spent the morning on our tandem bike and with our dog in the basket biking this long bike path. The locals were very nice greeting us as we biked past. The views of the homes and of the Rio Grande were terrific. We loved getting out of our car from our long car ride to stretch our legs and get some much needed exercise and fresh air on this path. We will definitely visit again. An added bonus for us was seeing Road runners on the path!

“Great Gettaway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2011

There is a great walking/biking/riding trail between the Rio Grande and the ditch banks. It gets you away from major roads and has underpasses so that you do not have to cross heavy traffic. It is very flat and pet friendly as well.

“What a fabulous resource for cyclists and runners”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2011

We rented bikes from the Bikesmith, who met us at the trailhead. He provided us with everything we needed, great bikes, helmets, locks and a trail map and suggestions of places to stop.
The trail itself is 10 miles and quite flat. It is beautifully maintained and does not require any stopping for road crossings. It goes right past several great places to stop including the zoo and bio ark as well as the "lake" at Tingley park (which is where we turned around).
We called to have the bikes picked back up when we were about 1/2 hour from the trailhead and dropping the bikes back was so easy.
Love this ride!
