“Great for our kids”

Our kids have grown up with this museum. It moved to this location about a decade ago, before our youngest started talking. Now he is twelve and has won 3 state engineering championships. Its hard to say what influences a person, but Explora was certainly a part of it. Lots of interesting displays and interactive exhibits, IMAX and everything you expect from a science museum. With the natural history museum right next door, its all here.

“don't miss this”

This is a great place for any curious person, whether young or not. There are exhibits for many interests, the central fountain is interactive, and it's a very welcoming place. I understand some evenings are reserved for adults only.

Explora is a fun day trip for kids of all ages. With many different areas to explore and many ways to play, explore and learn it is educational.

“Great Hands On Science for the Whole Family”

It says it's a children's museum but it also great for the kid in you as well. This was our second visit and loved it as much as the first. Lots of hands on science involving water, air, sound, etc. You can learn how a plane flies by "flying" an airplane. There's math tools for drawing and creating. Learn about sound waves using bellows ans cello. Having kids with special needs, it's like taking them to school without the structured classroom.
