“Nice Museum, Limited Exhibits”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

This is a nice museum to which my wife and I have brought our children on several occasions over the years. The only real issue I have is that there aren't many changes to the exhibits, which I can sort of understand but even the traveling exhibits, like the current Titanic exhibit, are sub-par compared to other museums, such as the San Diego natural history museum.

“S'ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

7 and 9 yr old got bored super quick and wanted to go across the street. 39 and 41 year old loved the old tubes and transistors though!

“Went for the Titanic Exhibit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

This exhibit opened just over a week ago and lays claim to having approx. 150 artifacts recovered from the wreck. Apparently this is a private exhibit company running the show and they are there to maximze their profits. At $18/adult and $15/senior, we feel that the exhibit is overpriced for what they are showing. Had they maybe doubled the number of artifacts and enlarged the exhibit, we would probably have been more interested and felt the exhibit was more worthwhile.

The average rating is strictly for this exhibit and in no way reflects our opinions of the facility itself!

“Best Value in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Something for everyone! The dinosaurs are awe-inspiring ... never seen anything like it! Very interesting displays ... we found it all fascinating. And it's right next to Old Town which is convenient. However ... do NOT eat lunch there. I ordered a Cob Salad - safe, right? I had to return it for a refund as it had over 1/2 rotten lettuce. Bruce had the soup which was ... ok ... but only mildly warm.

“very fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

This is a very fun museum that keeps you busy. We walked the museum in a few hours and then watched a show in 3D.
The kids had a great time and were not disappointed at all.
