“Great place to take kids and anyone who enjoys dinosaurs!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

I had been to the museum once before to see an Imax film but had not spent time at the museum. This time I went through all the exhibit and really enjoyed myself. N.M. has a lot of fossils and these are shown at the museum. It tells you which were found in N.M. and which were found elsewhere.
I wish that they had seating throughout the museum as it was hard to absorb what you were seeing.
I visited the Imax theatre and had a private viewing of Flying Dinosaurs. There is another children's museum next door, so this would make a good destination to spent a day at.

“DynaMax Theater is great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Okay, it's not a true IMAX but it's close enough to really enjoy the spectacular movies. Take a full day to see everything and take in the special talks. Docents are very happy to chat and explain. Also houses the Planetarium which is a treat in itself.

“Free Admission Day on First Sunday of the Month”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

The animatronic dinos were pretty cool. This musem is a good place for kids to run wild in its open spaces. Its a great escape on a weekend or week day. Check out the musem every first Sunday of the month when its free admission day to get your full value! Just show that you are a New Mexico resident and you are in!

“Nice Museum with Very Helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is a great little museum with several very nice exhibits. A strong emphasis on dinosaurs. Staff were very helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy talking about the various exhibits. It cost about $8.00 per adult and was well worth it. I would definitely recommend.

Very informative and well laid out. Not expensive and they will validate your car parking so that is a plus. Definately worth a visit
