“Wonderful service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

We stayed one night at this motel and were really impressed by Kay's lovely warm welcome and totally customer focused approach to her guests. We paid slightly more for a larger room and it was comfortable and very clean.
The owners obviously take great pride in the property which was well located for seeing Albuquerque and also had a small indoor pool.
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and Kay was on hand to assist with waffle-making! We highly recommend this motel to anyone who appreciates great customer service!

We had a great stay at Sandia peak. The owner is very nice, she will do anything for you, just ask. We stayed two nights and had no problems whatever. The room was great, very clean and well cared for. She also offered breakfast to include waffles and fresh fruit. Everything was excellent.

I give the motel a perfect rating because the owners Kay and Pat went out of there way to make everyones stay as best as it possibly can. Kay is a wonderful person she made us all feel at home. I enjoyed there indoor heated pool, there flat screen tv in the room was perfect. I enjoyed the big selection of channels we got. There rooms were very spacious and comfortabe. Her employees are very helpful, if you have a question they will do their best to give you their best answer. If we needed any help with anything the employees were there immediately to help us with our needs. The motel has wonderful new bedding in most of the rooms. The room also has a coffee maker, hair dryer, iron board, microwave and fridge. Kay also provides a breakfast from 7 to 9 am. I would definately stay here every time we are in the albuquerque area. I recommend this motel to everyone.

This was the nicest place to stay...I have to say the woman running this was amazing. Never met anyone who actually made you feel like you were staying at her home. The place was decorated very cute. We have mostly always stayed in a chain, feeling safer as women traveling. This time, driving my sister cross country for a move, we tried for unique because she won't be traveling much anymore. So when I read up on this one, it sounded so nice...IT WAS. My sister was apprehensive until we went inside and talked to her and saw the room. I have never had anyone so kind and helpful. Within minutes my sister was completely comfortable staying here. It was quiet and we had the most pleasant stay. The beds were super comfortable, more than enough pillows. It was clean AND SMELLED FRESH. No smoke anywhere. The entire experience was wonderful.

I believe room 117 would be a good room because it does not face the road and so less noise, but we faced the road and had no issues at all.

The housekeeping staff the next morning was also so friendly and accomodating.

This was a great stay.

Room Tip: I believe either 117 or 121, may have the numbers mixed, but it does not face the road and was a rea...

I stayed at the Inn a week ago for 3 nights, after reading the great reviews on TA. I was not disappointed at all!

The room was nice enough, nothing "fancy", but spotless clean!!!! The whole property though had the feel of a place that is loved and shared...It is sometimes the intangible that makes a place special, and in this case it was my delightful Innkeeper, Anna. She cares so much about her guests pleasure and comfort. It is evident everywhere and in everything she does there!

Highly recommended! Good central location, and its a bargain to boot!

Even though this was our first time there, we were greeted like old friends by the husband and wife owners of the inn. They were extremely nice and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The inn looks new and each room is decorated in a different motif. The room, the lobby and the outside area were spotless. The breakfast is overseen by the wife and she personally greets everyone that comes in for breakfast. She also makes waffles for all those who want them. The breakfast menu is extensive and fresh. We were on a cross-country trip and this stay was the best lodging experience of the entire trip! We will definitely stay at the Sandia Peak Inn on our next trip through Albuquerque.

We stayed at the Sandia Peak Inn Motel for one night in May on our way through Albuquerque on a cross country trip. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. We'd booked a queen room, but had a lot of luggage with us so requested one on the ground floor. Although there were no ground floor queens available, she offered to upgrade us to a suite for $5 -- a steal. The room itself was extremely clean, and obviously a lot of thought had gone into the amenities provided and the decor -- cute New Mexico-style fabrics and pressed tin light switches/lamps etc.

The breakfast was also very good - served from 6am - 9am, with everything from cereal, bagels/muffins, yogurt and fresh fruit to make your own waffles.

All in all, I don't think you could get a better room/experience for the price.
