“Well priced and very clean!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012 via mobile

This motel was very clean and had large rooms. The owner of the hotel was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. For the price, you can't beat it! I will definitely be staying here again if we come back to Albuquerque. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

You really can't go wrong with the Sandia Peak Inn. The owner/operator could teach a business course on the importance of providing customer service at every level of your stay. If you have any doubts about staying here just pull up to the curb out front and take a good hard look, the entire facility is absolutely spotless. Our room was large and very clean. The breakfast and coffee was good. The indoor pool looked inviting (we didn't use it). This hotel is just a great value for the price and the attention to every detail is something you don't see everywhere.

Room Tip: Call the owner for a great room at a great price!

Older, extremely clean, well maintained "Route 66" type motel. We recently made a trip to Grand Canyon, and wanted to stay in a couple of Route 66 specific properties. This is probably the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Even the parking lot was spotless. The owner is fully engaged and enthusiastic about guest's comfort and satisfaction. What a refreshing change ! Table with 2 chairs was great for laptop and eating. Stayed another night on the way back to Texas. Arrived late and the owner "left the porch light on" for us. Great value for those looking for the "Route 66" experience.

This is the best motel I have ever stayed in. The Indian couple who own and run this 40 unit motel are extremely friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable. The large flat-panel TV was connected to a Comcast box which provided about 600 channels. The room had a small sitting area in the front with a sofa and coffee table. There were artful decorations and accessories all around the room. There was a small microwave and refrigerator.

Across the street was an excellent Mexican restaurant El Charritos.

Breakfast was available in the lobby area from 7-9 with bagels, cereals, fruit and yogurt.

Highly recommended.

saw this hotel on TripAdvisor - this is definitely a SW GEM. Owners bend over backwards
to accommodate their guests needs. Rooms very nicely furnished with SW accessories.
Parking lot was huge. Close to Old Town, Aquarium, etc. Breakfast was very nice and
healthy. Kate is a wonderful lady - i wanted to stay with her for awhile longer. We will be
back.

We stayed at this place for 2 days while in Albuquerque. Its very clean and the owner (Kay) was very helpful and kind. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever lived in and the place was very well maintained. Even the parking lots were maintained well. Felt very safe at this place. This place is extremely convenient to stay at, when it comes to proximity to the important points of interest in the city. Its about a mile from the Aquarium, the Botanic garden,Tingley beach and the bike trails. The Petroglyph National Monument (Boca Negra Canyon trails) is also close by-- about 6 miles. Also its just 2 miles (5 traffic lights) to the Old town and Museums. The airport is also an easy 7 miles drive from this place.

My husband and I stayed here on our way to Colorado. Owner was extremely accomodating, parking lot and walkways were the cleanest we've ever seen, good breakfast. We had a large room with good furnishings, kind of Southwest motif. The neighborhood isn't the best, but for the price, this is a very good value. Also, the owner asked me to mention that she prefers a phone call to reserve rooms, rather than internet reservations.
