“Great Attraction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

I am terrified of heights, so I personally wasn't excited about this. My four-year-old gave it five stars, though. The ride to the top and the view were awe-inspiring to her.

“Great view of ABQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

Terrific ride up the mountain with spectacular views. Is handicapped accessible, and the staff made sure that I (with a walker) got one of the two seats on the tram. Only problem was that part of the ramped walkway was undergoing re-construction which necessitated waiting for a tram on the other side to arrive so I could walk through. Otherwise, I would have given this a score of 5!

“Altitude and Views!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

You will enjoy beautiful views that stretch for miles! At the top you'll stand over 10,000 feet! The Sandia Peak Tramway was built in Switzerland. You can see how all the equipment moves through glass windows as you wait for the next tram. During your ride to the top you see deep canyons and rock walls. At the top, there are restrooms and and restaurant. We enjoyed lunch at the top before heading back down. The food was good! I would recommend this attraction if you're spending time in the Albuquerque area.

“Not to be missed! A special ride.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

This is a wonderful experience to get a great view of the city while enjoying the mountains. It's a bit "spendy", but worth the ride. There is an expensive restaurant at the top that isn't really worth it, but definitely a romantic evening out if you're into that sort of thing. I went in the winter, a storm rolled in.. I was standing in a snow storm at the top and back at the bottom it was pleasant... bring a jacket! I really loved it!
