“Awesome stop for families, naturalists”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Unique, educational, broad representation of species, including tarantulas, spiders, scorpions and turtles. Great entertaining videos, too, and lots of snake-related cool stuff in the gift shop.

“Just had to try this . . .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

What a unique museum and the entry fee is like $4. If you REALLY don't like snakes you may want to skip this, but if you are the curious squeamish type you could feel safe here. You do need to watch out for the tortoises wandering around on the floor. You can learn more about snakes hee than you ever wanted to know and more. If you buy a T-shirt and wear it out of the store you $3 off! I have always wanted a rattlesnake T-shirt.

“I like rattlesnakes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Beautiful snakes! I have never seen so many different rattlesnakes!! Each of them seem to be in good health and one provided an opportunity for a great video.

“Why Did It Have to Be Snakes!?!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

This museum was unique and a bit odd. Snakes were everywhere you looked, including baby rattle snakes that were on display. Outside of the snake realm the little museum offered a few other critters to see such as snapping turtles and tarantulas. This oddity is a staple of Albuquerque.

“Small but interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012 via mobile

This museum is a good way to see some pretty cool things up close without having to be afraid of them. The owner/director was very nice and answered questions. Reasonable fee and located right in Old Town.
