This is a 7-story business hotel on Louisiana and I-40. Convienient 3 mile access to Kirtland Airforce Base and Sanda Labs. The casinos, Fair Grounds and the Sandia Peak Tramway and also easily accessible. I had a room on the North side and was affraid of the noise as others have posted but I didn't notice it at all. Others that are affected by the noise must be very light sleepers. Parking is complimentary and plentiful no issues even when returning late at night. The hotel has a gazebo entry to the left of which is a Full Service Restaurant and Bar open for breakfast and dinner. In the Bar and Restaurant you'll find a daily happy hour from 5pm -7pm with discounted appitizers and drink specials. Also offered are free coffee and cookies. The business center has two couple of computers, printer, and fax. If your looking for additional restaurant options you will find BJ's, Marcelo's Chop House, Elephant Bar and many others just across the road and defintely walking distance. If your just looking for a snack the hotel has a pantry by the front desk. My room was clean with a small fridge and microwave. The best shopping in the area located across the street is called Uptown and Coronado. Only a couple of minutes walking distance. I think business people will enjoy this hotel but the weekend visitor traveling with children enjoy the pool with slide. The slide had set hours so make sure to verify it's open on the day's your traveling. Overall I highly recommed this hotel due to the location in Albuquerque and high level of service.
