I spent three nights at the Omni in a sizable room with two double beds. The hotel is right next to the bay, and its views are its biggest highlight. If you stay here, be sure to get a room on the bay side.
The location makes walks along the bay and quick jaunts to nearby restaurants easy to manage. And it's right on Shoreline Boulevard and near I-37, so getting to and fro is a snap.
The negatives: The lobby is dated, as is the room furniture, although everything looks clean. Our large balcony had no furniture on it. And the parking garage is very oddly constructed — at each blind-ish curve, I feared we were going to run smack into some Texas-sized SUV.
